    Hi I am on my third refurb of a BSA meteor MK1/2 ? TD 43879, but I have struck a problem? One of the sears is broke! I have checked chambers site and there is no picture of the sears! Personally I think chambers are expensive to deal with any way!!     hi buddy Have you done any fettling/work/service done on it lately? the reason i am asking,is a problem i came across while fettling.is the barrel is not flush with the breach after the fettling/service/work has been done. this is an easy fix "if the case" take out the mag,remove the mag retaining clip,under there is two grub screws loosen these,and remove the barrel band. and slowly twist/pull towards you.if it dose not budge then it has loctite on it ,which will need heating up with a hair drier to loosen! once you have it loose "the barrel" push the mag back in its housing and

    hi every one its been a long time since i posted! i had a call from Graham the farmer last week about the rats are starting to gather again. so i told him chaz & i would be up there this week,chaz couldn't make it.so of i went on me jack jones. i got there about 7:30pm met Graham and had a chat and he notified me where the hot spots were, i had a walk around with me NV monocular, and there wasn't much about. so i decided to get in me car and have a drive round,as it was raining quiet heavy,and i parked up at the back.for an hour or so, i seen a couple but far to quick for me an

    hi RR i cant see it being a problem! there is a lay by just out side the gates of the entrance to the field,we are staying in.also this road is hardly used! so dont see it being a problem! or there is a truck park about 10 minutes away! right must crack on,loads to do still! Davy
