  4. hi buddy why don't you buy a decent spring rifle AATX200,AA pro sport,HW97,HW77 and alike, start with the basics and work your way up ! pcp shooting is too easy!! Spring rifle shooting much more of a challenge! and will make you a better shooter in the long run IMO Davy

  9. hi Mary i use MTC Mamba's all all three of my rifles and have to say there are great! nice and clear and multi aim points too! plus you get mounts,flip up cover,sunshade all in the price! if your not buying new then check out the for sale section,these scopes seem to be kept in good condition for second hand! regards Davy

  14. hi Darcy nice to see you in here!! i shoot .177 & .22 PCP .177 /.22 springer an old BSA meteor i done some refurbishment on, .177 springer as long as you can hit the same kill zone time and time again @ different ranges, it don't matter shit!! what cal you have,just do the calibration and the range estimation and you will be fine!! practise practise practise!!!   18. hi buddy have you tried Air Arms field,Falcon accuracy,.22's these have both worked well in my past Air Arms. and recently i have had good groups with Weihrauch F&T Special.would add there are in .177 though,they do .22 as well,check out the pellet thread and ask some one to send you some samples,just pay for postage,got to be worth a couple of quid for 50 pellets donated Davy
  19. hi Si i have my AATX200HC .177 back now from M.A.G and Colin molloy has done a good job on the re-bluing.i have yet to calibrate it yet.its looking good in its CS1000 stock too! Davy
  20. hi Si right hoovering done! you have far too much time on your hands!!!! the challenge looks good,and i shall try it! once i get my HW100 back . the valve stem was bent from previous owner ? who tried fettling with it. hence the 4ftlb it was putting out and the inconsistency as well,but i shall take on the challenge and raise you 5yds Well done buddy.   22. hi Si nice footage buddy you need to get down to me ! and we will take you over to old downs pursuits HFT club,we are getting in some last minute practise in for the SHS next week.oh and i miss my HW100 it is being fixed at the moment! it is deadly accurate! have you tried the Weihrauch F&T Special .177 suppose to be pretty good,i have tried them in the HW100 but power was low.so couldn't really judge them correctly,they work well in the AAS410K speak soon Davy
  23. hi buddy welcome to the forum I can understand your dislike for the R10 if it has been back and fourth to BSA. but to compare it with a gammo you must be insane and also dis agree with your comment! ( highlighted above) i have a pre AT AAS410K .177 & HW100S .177 that will match those rifles mentioned,shit on a good day my TX200HC .177 may also give em a run for there money all under 500£ a friend of mine has a R10 out of the box tight 5p groups at 30mtrs,nothing wrong with his R10. was yours a MK1 ?? enjoy the banter buddy ,its good here Davy
  24. hi which ever you choose,you wont be disappointed and if you are thinking of getting the barrel shortened,which many do! & blue printed. for that extra 150£ you could have the HW100kt .177 Davy
