    hi HTH nice springers the hw97k i shoot a AATX200HC .177 and have just recently had it serviced. may be its due a service? when did it have its last ? when did you clean the barrel last ? have you changed your pellets recently ? have you knocked the scope ? are all mounts nice and finger tight ? are you pulling rather than squeezing the trigger ? have you spoke to Gary @ MTC ? just one more question! what score are you getting at the HFT course ? sorry all questions are relevant! regards Davy

    Hi Russell it was good to meet you! and spend some time with another THL member,i am glad you enjoyed the HFT and a great score on your first time HFT Shooting. the rabbit shooting was a bonus,and i liked the Pulsar n550 you have,a real nice piece of kit. as described we had a few bunnies in the day mine were 43&45 yds,but Dogvixen got the longest shot of the day shooting a lovely 55/58 yds with his trusty AAS200. and also got the longest shot of with the 17hmr, i missed 2 but nailed a long shot.cracking shooting on both behalf's any time you want to come on over Russell yo

    hi buddy what a perfect post for a intro in to air gun shooting right judging by the second photo,i would say yes needs a bit more work,for tighter groups about an inch! and on the other hand,the second pic looks like to me 3/4 shots to the skull ? and a few more to the spinal cord.? if you was to put it over a print out of a rabbits head. so you are nearly there keep at it,and try as many pellets as you can.and use the ones which group the tightest keep us informed on how you are doing,there is a wealth of knowledge here for you to grasp!!!! regards Davy

    hi sorry to dampen the mood,but there is a full moon on the 12th,pretty much pointless. http://www.dacre.net/moon/moonphase.html but if there is a pulsar Digi sight N550 to look at,then i may be persuaded to turn up,and bring my Sony handy cam & IR and the Vomz NV unit.only 45 minutes for me. regards Davy

    hi i can vouch for this AAS410K .22 this rifle is deadly accurate out to 65yds,which we both calibrated.if its still here in 2 weeks i will have it back! Davy

    hi buddy when rat shooting with my 3-12x44 i turn the parallax to 10yds and set the mag to x4.this works well for me! here is how i done it if your close as 5yds then you just as well hit them with the butt of the rifle Davy

    i haven't looked through a viper,all i can say these optics are very clear.and that's coming from some one who owns a hawke! if you would like to get it close to the barrel ,then get the low mounts! but Si's Advise is always top notch! i have high mounts on my AATX200HC and I still get good results! the choice is yours Davy
