  1. hi buddy right .22 due to the power curve most air gunners zero at between 25/27yds ,or 30yds. i zero my .22 @ 30yds because its always the way I have done it,and if I am using a mildot scope. I am at 5yds increnctments (sorry about spelling) 30yds is cross hairs.35yds will be 0.5 mildot,40yds will be 1.0 mildot and so on,then you got the guys who zero at 25mtrs this i am not sure of .as i work in yds, others work in mtrs. but a well known air gunner Jim Tyler always zerod his .22 at 26/27yds with great affects.and then you are not far of your kill zone at different ranges.due to

  7. hi buddy with the right skill and practise and weather conditions! you will be able to shoot out to about 60yds with a sub 12ft/lbs air rifle, but you will have to do the paper work (practise) first and a trajectory plan for you scope,to reach these ranges! but as you shoot at a club already the help is already there for you! so practise practise practise practise i have shot further than this, and many others on here.but we are not in to dick measuring just facts!! and abilty good luck buddy check out my youtube channel Davy
  8. hi buddy 4 concrete paving slabs,3 sides one for the roof.set this up at your zero range! this will be more than enough for a pellet back stop. then if you need to put targets out at different ranges, use a couple of house bricks,or a pellet catcher they are easy enough to move around! but make sure you let your neighbours know what you are up too! Davy

  12. hi buddy a nice choice of rifle there but can I ask why you want a F.A.C and not a 12ft/lbs ? you just as well get a rim fire ? Davy
  13. hi Rob the bi pod you choose should reflect the type of permission you have ? for instance if you shoot on a golf course a 6/9 will be fine,as the ground will be tightly cut and maintained.and you can stay close to the ground. if you are shooting in a horse paddocks/ farm area/land then chances are that there will be a lot of low to medium grass.hence where the 9/13 will come in to effect! but if you are a hunter who like's to sit/Kneel/static, while you mooch about.then the 13/27 is ideal for this, how do I know this ? because I have all three and they all have a purpose! just
  14. hi my view is whether your an Olympic champion or a dedicated hunter, you are after the same goal! precision! every one wants to hit the bullseye/kill zone every time.and to be the best/and humane! so if lubing your pellets achieves tighter groups then so be it! I wash and lube all my pellets and just discard the skirts that are damaged! as they will not be accurate as an undamaged pellet. BUT BE WARNED!!!!!!!!! that lubing your pellets will add extra FT/LBS to your air rifle (not a great deal) so make sure you chrono it after lubing just a heads up !! Davy
