Anyone can, of course, make comments about the comp, and constructive critisicm is welcome ! But there are people who aren't involved, trying to get rules changed and complaining about how the comp is run ! Maybe they are speaking for some one else, if so; just say !! Cheers.

i agree The thing is, you two DIDN'T enter the competition, and obviously don't know the rules , so even though you are welcome to your oppinion; it means nothing as far as the comp goes !! If the Olympic 100 meter final has a runner pull out thru' injury; does the runner he beat in the semi get asked to run in the final????? Of course not ! Cheers. surely its like wise now you have been knocked out off it??? Not sure what you mean, but if you mean my oppinion doesn't count now I'm out, then I dissagree !! I paid my entrance money, gave people lifts to and from the st

Danny, I may be taking this to seriously, but there are far to many people with oppinions on how this comp should be run, even though when we were struggling to get enough entrants to get it off the ground, they didn't have the Jacobs to enter !! Cheers.

Just out of interest mate, if these dog turned into great lamping/runnign dogs would you consider having one ? In answer to that mate.. they won't.....and I wouldn't.. LOL ! I prefer a real running dog cross, you're fairly sure what you will get, but these in my eyes, I'm sorry to say, are not Lurchers ! Not enough running dog blood. But as I said, best of luck with them ! Cheers. For me i have no preconceptions about any dog, if it does the job i want it to and is healthy then thats all that counts. YOU ARE A BREEDIST! Happy new year  Yeah; you're right; I DO h -

Mate, if that is you in the picture, you are obviously a young guy; don't believe the "many people" who say their Labs course and catch rabbits !! It just doesn't happen !! One or two may taske a rabbit in exceptional circumstances, but NEVER on a regular basis !! My old Doberman has had a rabbit or two, more by good luck than owt else ! LOL " Cheers. We have a lab over my dads house, i have witnessed it with my own eyes, she was trotting in a rushy field, following the sent of a rabbit and it got up and she was right behind it, and after about 15seconds she caught it. She has done t -

LAL; don't get me wrong, a Lab X Bull/Grey would probably be snapped up in OZ or NZ, for pig work; but once again; I don't see what it will bring to the field here !! Best of luck with them, I'll follow their progress with interest ! Cheers. -

Now, I'm certainly NOT having a go here; but what did you hope to achieve with what I believe is a Labrador X Bull/Greyhound mating ?? Surely there is insufficient running dog in the cross for them to be classed as "Lurchers", the speed will not be there, to start with !! I have nothing but admiration for Labs and Bull/Greys, in their own enviroment, but can't see what this cross will give in the field ! Cheers. -
I said; "60, 70, 's with a COUPLE of dogs" !! Yes the dogs ARE very fit, and the pics are on here and other sites. Cheers.

I strongly believe in the saying "if it aint there; you can't catch it " !!!! I go on one mates permission and take 4 or 5; go to another mates and get double figures; go to another mates and 20's and 30's are fairly easily managed; I haven't been on land where there would be enough around to take 100 since the early seventies; but if the numbers are there, there are dogs that would do it ! I know two guys on here that have 60, 70, 's with a couple of dogs, regular, just need to get an invite out with them !! LOL !! Cheers.

As far as I know, there is only one dog thru' to the 3rd round; LDR's dog Bruce, who beat my dog. I ran both my heats on schedule, but so what if the others are a bit late ??? It was meant to be a comp between like minded lads, and yes, Scouser had his concerns, but they were addressed, and hopefully accepted. As for MB, well, if everyone bent over backwards to accomodate him, he would still find some thing to shout about !! MY moan is that there are so many people telling us how it should be run, but didn't have the minerals to enter in the first place !!! I have enjoyed the hosting of other

As far as I know, only me and LDR have run our second round..... so why all the fuss about this one ????? Cheers.

Lee, this isn't the Waterloo Cup, being run over three days !! It's being run over four months ! It's now smack bang in the middle of the season, so why talk about "equal rcovery time" ? I'm sure all the dogs in the comp are doing the same lamping as normal, and the comp should be like any other night, my two heats were !! Also it's not being run under Coursing Rules, it's being run under rules agreed to by the entrants; and the only people complaining or wanting rules changed or added are people who didn't even enter !!! It's the first time this comp has been run, and it will be smoother next
