  1. People would stop buying his newspapers and watching his tv channels and advertisment money would dry up and he would loose an unimagnable ammount of money !! He has ALL the political parties in this country in his pocket, but the people could realy hurt him by not using his products. So it's not a one way street if he gets the hump. Cheers.
  2. You should talk to some different boys; maybe boys that actualy have a clue !! LOL !! Or else maybe think of getting into a different hobby. Anyhow, you're doing the right thing asking questions, rather than just jumping in and buying a pup ! Good luck. Cheers.
  3. And it has a 6' open ditch in front of it ....... Cheers.
  4. I allways thought the reason we ran hares when we do was because, in the spring and summer hares are usualy mating/pregnant and the crops are to high; and in the autumn and winter the hares aren't usualy mating/pregnant and the crops are down ? Saying that, I remember a half grown leveret being run in mistake for a rabbit in the last lamping comprtition, and that was in November !!! As for fitness; the buggers allways seem fit to me !! LOL !! Cheers.
  5. They'll be anything you want them to be ; just depends what you want them to do and how much work you are prepared to put into them, and what your expectations are !! Cheers.
  6. He's to young and hasn't got the confidence yet, give him time ! Cheers.
  7. I'd say 6' isn't realy a problem to any decent fit Lurcher. Mine are 23" and 29", and both will go over a 6' fence. Cheers.
  8. The blurb says "Gore*" rather than Goretex, so that would make me a bit suspicious of them; but who knows ? Cheers.

I've been over there a couple of times, mainland and the island of Urland in the Baltic. They love their hunting, shooting and fishing, and don't have the anti's and stupid government restrictions we have. But beware, its VERY expensive, and beer and spirits cost a fortune !! A lot of Swedes get a ferry over to Finland on a "booze cruise" for a cheap drink !! Hope you have a great time !! Cheers.
  10. In my opinion, a "Non-Ped" Whippet is one that runs under BWRA or NNWRF rules and USUALY has a fair bit of Greyhound in its ancestry, sometimes more than 50% !!! They usualy look stronger and fitter than K.C. type Whippets, but not allways. Cheers.
  11. My Deer/Grey bitch just pegged a pheasant in the rape feild behind my house... I wonder if that makes me a "summer hunter" !! LOL !! Cheers.
  12. Before the advent of the "Internet"; if you wanted a Lurcher pup you found out about a litter thru' mates, at a show, or from the pages of the Exchange & Mart !! LOL !! Now there is a great upsurge in people wanting Lurchers, (even though most Lurcher work is now banned !!), so everyone is coming out of the woodwork and breeding Lurchers, most times from unproven stock, (I'm not saying this lads stock are unproven, I'm talking generaly). This results in people paying way to much for a pup, and when they turn out useless, they get passed around and usualy end up in the pound !! Best thing i
  13. Here's a link to Australian "Bull Arabs"; evidently a cross between EBT's, Greyhounds and English Pointers. Although many Aussies will argue that there is more than that in them !! http://boardogs.com/Bull_Arabs.htm Cheers.
  14. This Australian dog, (EBT X Greyhound), was owned by a very well known Bull X man, and the dog and his litter sister were very good boar dogs; I'm sure he won't mind me putting up a pic of this top class dog; Cheers.
  15. Now that is a challenge to owner of the winner of the whippet racing! Anyone with any sense must realise that Matt or any other racing organisers cannot argue the toss with someone who says his or her dog is a whippet. Size solely doesn't really come into it and in fact may not be any advantage - look at Rose Mc Coy's small dog and China too is no giant. As far as I can see there are three solutions: 1. If challenged, at the show - not anonymously on these forums - the owner should be prepared to meet the challenge by saying how he or she thinks it is a whippet. 2. If he or she

  20. No mate; he's the brother to my young bitch Lima. Delta will be six year old next month Cheers.
  21. Heres a pic of your dog, (I don't think you are going to get that job as a Proffesional Photographer !! LOL !!). He's the same stamp as his sister, and the same height and weight, 29" & around 75- lb. He's looking well; good luck with him this season, at two year old they should be ready for anything !! Cheers.
  22. Well........ I feed my dogs on BARF, (mainly lamb ribs and necks) and the gear that the local Game Dealer gives me, which is almost any meat or game, except pork, and I use Wagg Complete as a filler , just as other people would use a "buscuit" type dry food. My dogs look well on it; and more importantly, they WORK well on the diet they are on !! Cheers.
  23. YOU DON'T PUT UP A TOPIC SAYING YOU ARE GOING TO SHOOT PEOPLES DOGS, ESPECIALY IF THEY ARE ON LEADS !! HOW STUPID ARE YOU ??????? WE TOLD YOU THIS IN YOUR ORIGIONAL POST !! FFS !!! IF YOU REALY DO HAVE AN FAC, THEN THE POLICE SHOULD TAKE IT OFF YOU, AS YOU ARE OBVIOUSLY RETARDED AND SHOULDNT HAVE A CATAPULT, NEVER MIND A FIREARM !!!!!!Sorry for the caps lock, but this bloke is obviously an anti or a retard !!! Cheers,
  24. Non-Ped Whippets can take hares regularly; but that's probably due to the high percentage of Greyhound blood in them. The old Racing Whippets back in the 60's & 70's could take hare, fox and deer, but thats probably because they were smooth coated Lurchers "of Whippet like appearance"; which was the only criterea that most clubs asked for ! Pure bred, KC Whippets today may take the odd hare, but not with any consistency. Even at Whippet Coursing Club meetings, very few hares were cought , and a lot of the "courses" could more properly be described as "chases" ! Don't get me wrong, I love W
  25. Excellant pups mate !! I'm really tempted, but I bet they're all spoken for ! Good luck with then, I look forward to seeing how they progress ! Cheers.
