    And not only that but gameness is basically a state of mind at that particular time. I will guarantee that even in the gamest of the game bulldogs they will show signs and or make funny moves if everything is not just right at the present time. If you have never in your life fooled with anything that is truely game then you literally have no business speakin of it cuz you wont understand it. Its not magical or anything like that but it is not always there either. Gameness will come and go in each individual and thats a fact.     There are books literally over a 100 years old talkin bout breeding greyhounds to bulldogs and greyhounds to foxhounds and crossing the three together. There are also mention of them crossing in curs/collie types with these dogs. The bull cross is not a new thing at all. I'm not tryin to act like an expert cuz I am not but folks been crossing the bulldogs and the greyhounds for ages both here and over yalls way. And one more time there is no such things as a game lurcher or terrier of any kind except the game bred bulldogs.

    You are not ready for a greyhound. Get yourself a mongrel of some sort and learn from it. Take this from a guy who has owned one very fast dog. They are alot of fun to watch but when they get wrecked(and it's gonna happen) they come apart in a very bad way.

Theres NO quarry in this country that requires a lurcher to be game !!! why would you need a lurcher to be game? are we talking bullgreyhounds or lurchers? if a bull greyhound is not game what use is it? i'm confused.     why do they have to suck at everything? Prolly cuz of the wolfhoud and borzoi blood in them. All I really know is that the more I hunt my dogs the more I realize they are just dogs and we have a love/hate relationship.

    Forget percentages,as soon as mathematics becomes important to breeding lurchers,then the breedings flawed.Decent working mutt bred to the same will usually produce the same,the ability of the parents in the field is far more important than the percentage of this and that and what will show in the mix,ability first and foremost.     Ya Bloomington would be the closest but you most likely couldnt fly straight into there from England. Its not that big of an airport I dont think and if you could I bet it would cost a bunch more money than say O'Hare.
