They will do that joe, initial marking of territory, I toilet trained mine with they training pads, soak her piss up with one, then leave it down for her she should go to the same spot for the toilet, and associate the pads with toilet, every time move the pads closer to the front door eventually moving it outside and hopefully she should let you know that she wants out. DONT expect overnight results and DONT EVER rub her nose in it.
