    Opinions are like arseholes and every one has one. His Jamie dog was meant to be a decent dog and has been producing, that's not where the problem was. It was one of the bitches he put Jamie over that has supposedly shown bad signs and that was the dam to the stud dog the lad used. Not really one to get in to who's right and who's wrong but it is what it is, you can't unhear something and that's what held me off.

    The pups were sired off one of his dogs. The lad who bred the litter is a sound kid and is as keen as they come, nothing against him and his bitch. ?

    I'm sure they would have if there was any litters about at the time. It is what it is, like I said I'm in no rush, just want one down off capable dogs. Been speaking to a few lads off here so fingers crossed. ??

    Not just one persons word, when a few tell me the same story then chances are there's some truth in it. What's weird? Lol. I'm waiting on a well bred litter it's as simple as that. ?

    I was going to buy a pup just before Christmas but got talked out of it from a few in the know. That's not a knock on the lad but didn't hear the best of things on the sires side. You know what talk is like mind, might have turned the chance down of a good dog as the dams breeding is dynamite. I've been talking to a few other lads so hopefully something will come off soon, I'm in no big rush. ?

    I'd be up for a trip down given the right circumstances, last thing anybody wants is to go there with a set of numpties and get your dog and motor took off you at the first slip, I'm sure there's lads what know the crack. There's plenty of good running up here mind so travelling down there isn't really a necessity IMO. Wounded that a didn't get a pup back end of this years, could have a steady winter entering one back end of this year. ??

    That's never stopped me in the past and it wouldn't now, work and home life has put me off getting a dog but when I do get one they are worked. I doubt I will be at the fens twice a week mind like you ya proper man, I will travel though without a doubt, will see what happens. I'll be up for a trip down there. ?

    I'm getting told off for playing on my phone when I'm taking the Chrimbo tree and decorations down, she's out of order. Going to use and old Indian trick, wrap em in cling film and lob em in the loft, horrible bastarding things.

    True, towards the back end of when I used to run em I felt myself more and more running hares and going off paggering teeth with dogs that resembled monsters that should be taking on grizzly bears, maybe i was going soft but I started to prefer the thrill of the chase and you can't get much better than seeing a dog behind a hare. I may have dropped a bollock letting one of those pups go but I'll drop on something sooner or later when something pops up.

    I hope all parties have sobered up and reflected on last night's shenanigans. Folk were on the verge of booking a one way ticket to Spain to pit their coursing breds against the mighty Galgo, Whippet owners ready to take of their flat caps, roll up their sleeves and prove once and for all that their pocket sized possessions can put a bend in a winter hare, oh and Dytkos was almost slightly amusing.
