That's lino in the image tat mate. Looks like carpet. That's when quilty was quilty. My grandmother kicked off with local council. Because when they came and revamped the properties they changed her lino in the kitchen that she'd had down a good few years from 80s was like new. Well a bought the wife a pair of bully's for her bday. I've helped her out showing her how to condition them & she's done well. At first the pair was chasing each other about. And the wife was disheartened abit thinking they wouldn't pair. A told her it takes time correct amount of seed plenty of time spent with them. Anyway a told her to separate the cock bird for a full day yesterday and this morning introduced him back into the flight. And soon as he went in space of 5 mins this happened. The hen went to him not him chasing her. So the wife has done well I'm proud of her.

Well few of the foster & feeder hens are sat tight on eggs. Like always letting them have the first round of eggs. See which pairs will be suitable for rearing the goldfinches. Nothing worse than putting eggs under an inexperienced hen to find out they won't rear the young goldfinches. I've a few pairs that are a few seasons old that I know are bomb proof. And the young off them I'm hoping will be too. All been fed on insects & plenty of vegetables an fruit too. Can't beat rearing your own feeders. Nothing worse than buying feeders in and them telling you a load of shit. That they give

Just been watching the news about raw spillage from the water companies. That it won't be re- Corrected till 2050 nearly another 30 years. Just shown you raw spillage going into the sea around the east coast early morning when us guys wake up. The guy speaking said that the spillage that they've gone through. Has been holding alot of medication. And some sea specimens have been found with cocaine in their systems. A don't get how that can be. ? Many with chemicals from anti depressants. f***ing crazy how the water works can get away with this.

Try keep away from baycox & baytril unless they are going light. Don't give them that every month. Because when the birds get immune to the shite you'll be stuck. Nothing else will work. Natural things spices great for the immune in birds.

Foniopaddy seeds helps to prevent birds going light mate. Great little seed it's been veterinarian tested too. Another that I used in the water virkon S twice a week. Only a few specks quater of a teaspoon in 2 litres of water. That will kill any nasties too. Old pigeon man told me about the virkon S doesn't do any harm to birds at all. Some poultry men use it too.

True about bullies they get more goodness from the buds & leafy matter than they do seeds. As for the chair & fridge would be nice. But little disturbance this time of year. I try to keep away from the birds.

The cages look bang on too pal. Easy to clean the full wire fronts & side cages There's some Italian ones I've had my eyes on. Not cheap though. Who's the designer off them you've got.

Its just easy to keep things in order , dates of eggs hatching in the storage draws with dates of eggs set & dates of breaking through eggs. All set on same day so all young will have a fighting chance & hopefully great success rate on young making it to the sticks. If you don't have things in order it can turn out a nightmare with eggs all over , not knowing which eggs are from which pairing. With this it's so easy. Thanks for the comment mate.

Well the numbers are coming up on for the first rounds. All eggs are getting ready to set back under the hens. First set of eggs have been set this morning.

Great to see the Beevers back at work. Was watching them on T.V. The chap on there said great to helping with the flood defences in some areas. Nature at its best.

As for swimming if they knew what goes into the waterways they'd soon stop swimming lol. I used to love as a kid swimming in river building rope swings trekking down woods camping out.

Definitely you've hit the nail on the head about men interfering the wild life was here way before us so you've to respect it and manage it that's the reason for hunting to manage the population. Me & you may say we don't want tourists in the area but businesses won't be saying that tourism keeps some businesses going.

Definitely there's different types of antis out there. You only have to look at hunting in whole mate. The shooting majority hate guys working lurchers specially game keepers. A once went with a lad who had permission by the state go go lamping & ferreting. First couple of times we went lamping we had good numbers. After a few outing we noticed when we'd get up there. Not one rabbits out in the opened land or a few feet away from the edge line of the fields. Anyway after a few trips up we though this is strange. 240 years since these majestic birds were about our lands and you get prickds like that that go killing them. Was amazing to read that a pair had had a youngen over here. So were doing something right for them to nest & have young again

Arsehole mate they keep most of the critters that are on deaths door down too. So any critters that are suffering with diseases and threat of spreading the diseases further these guys will clean the mess up. Just like predator fish out there in our waters. But some fools don't understand the circle of life.
