    Well guys over the weekend the nest pans went in for the canaries. And for the past few days they've been hard at it building their nests. So hopefully in the next few weeks will have some eggs to set. I've 5 nests built out of 7 pairs at the moment.

    An old traveller near me was telling me years ago when a was telling him I'm going to buy some glosters for muling. He told me straight don't go buying them. They can't see really good when it comes to feeding with the bonnet they've got eyes covered up. Your better off with a roller or Timbrado or Irish. Just depending on what mule. Your wanting. If it's a smaller native bird your putting over canary then Irish or razza. If it's something like a greeny or crossbill then roller or timbrado that little bit bigger. A like to look at the body structure of the native too and the canaries. Look for

    It's a catch 22 mate. Ashame the mink went onto the allotments taking the racers and not stayed down near waters. But lad who's bailiff on syndicate ponds said they had trouble with mink taking the fish. So had a fella shooting them & the cormorants too. But can't of been doing much because early morning they'd be about a good dozen cormorant on the ponds getting a good fill lol. A watch a Herron jack a cormorant for its catch.     They'll be plenty a live at back of some allotments and near water ways river & canal mate. Lol. Numbers were down due to mink. But lads have trapped the mink due to them taking their races from round allotments & hens too. Mink few weeks back took a chaps racers over 30 odd years worth of breeding 40 odd birds then went back and took another 20 odd. Ended up getting the family of mink but rat numbers are back now around the area.

    Well been out to sort the birds out and thought Al check the live trap & this big b*****d was in. Funny looking in the face very light colour and a Roman like style head domed shape. Not seen one like this before. Anyway a put a pellet between its eyes. Been causing me some shit for past few weeks this f****r if it's the same one. Dogs have been going mad out side near bins and near next doors rabbit hutch behind fence knowing its been about.

    Same at the local park near me with the rats in the tree lines & hedge rows. Last time a Was there dogs spooked them from the trees onto to this brick wall which leads into the park wardens garden. When viewing over the wall to see where they'd gone. Was a big old compost heap. Local council does all the work round the park keeping it tidy , removing all the dead leafs. And with them all broken down into fine compost great place for the mucky b*****ds. A might have ago at weekend leave it till its dropped dark.

    Week off work so decided to pair the Timbrado canaries up for the coming season. Birds went in over the weekend which many off them settled in straight away. Hens chattering to the cock birds mouthing one another great sign. 7 pairs all settle nicely. Introduced the nest boxes on the cage front birds showing alot of interest. Come the weekend a will let them crack on with building. Happy days. Some will be feeders but I always let them have the first round. See which pairs are going to be suitable for rearing the sibs

    Will see what he brings but alot of Muslims over Rochdale voted for him because they knew many of british Rochdale residents were going his way. So you dance with the devil so to speak. But many other muslims who were daft voted for that other pakki f****r who was for labour a think. Would you talk a load of shite to a few pakkiz to get there vote just like many parties do to win.     Well with the season nearly here thought I'd get a couple of things ready like pairing the feeders up eggfood draw ready for the swap over of eggs. It's great this time of year. First round of feeders young will come first. I always let them have a round to see who's going to be okay at feeding the young. Last thing you want is to be putting eggs under a feeder canary and chicks hatch and they've no interest in them. With the Timbrados they seem to be great feeders and love the insects which that's the main diet that needs to be taken in. Specially for the sib goldfinches nice pair of goldfinc

    I'm hoping now Galloway got in for Rochdale and not that pakki f****r. That people open there eyes now and see it can be done.     Well guys it's that time again bird sale at stafford when mostly shite his sold on to the poor green fuckers that are just joining in the hobby. A mean that because mostly all the good stuffs gone before the main doors open for the general public between bird keepers who are already there setting up the tables or done the deals outside. It's abit shite for guys who've paid ten quid for the 10 o'clock wrist bans. I've always said that nothing should be aloud in untill the doors open at 10 o'clock. And on arrival all motors should be checked and birds accounted for. That gives every body a sport
