Yeah I loved the James Douglas book, good stories from an excellent writer. I not read the Waddy Wadsworth book so will have to get a copy. The Notorious Paocher by G.Bedson is also a great book, tales of poaching various game in Staffordshire. So JD I've just read on another topic about you bringing two new books out this year. CAN I ORDER A COPY OR PUT MY NAME ON THE LIST :friends:

In my opinion a good dog is a really good dog when it has the above qualties and dosing a dog with horse steriods isn't going to give you this. Just my opinion :whistle: -
Thats up there, just forgot "the world of the" bit. Could have added The Real Jack Russell Terrier by Eddie Chapman, E.G Walshs books, Tales of a Rat Hunting Man, Rogues and Runningdogs by Plummer, Hunters Paradise by P.Holden or J.Darcys Extreme Lurcherwork. Read them all a thousand times and no doubt will read them another thousand.

Had kangaroo with sweet potatoes and a holandaise sauce last year in Darling Harbour Sydney, best meal i've ever had. Think maybe the surroundings helped

Does anybody else hear a can of worms being opened :11: If you only intend to use a terrier for bushing then I think any terrier would be fine. My first terrier was a Plummer and the breed does have an amazing nose.

Took the dogs on the land today and all I saw was a solitary rabbit so decided to try and bait some rats that are living in old straw. Met up with Wheres Wally from this site and waited. Didn't have long to wait before a rat appeared and my first shot with my new gun resulted in a dead rat. I also have permission for crows, pigeons etc and wondered what the best pellet is?
