Protein levels would depend on how much work the dog does, is it a working dog or a dog with a hobby Years ago before my dogs were on BARF I fed a very expensive and well known dry food and the protein was around 27%, the dogs were bouncing off the walls and a nightmare to live with. Nearer 20% I would have thought Just add chicken wings, carcases and rib racks to the diet

Heat lamps are fine although my kennels have no heating. Dogs will cope aslong as they are not subjected to draughts. You mention putting the lamp on when the dogs are wet, I would always dry mine before kenneling them

After reading a thread on the shooting page and luckys recent post I wondered what was/is the largest/heaviest animal you have caught. This is the biggest rat I have caught after clearing a hegde/game strip of rats with the terriers. I didn't weigh it but my boot is a size 11. Whats yours?

John, Seems strange to start a thread trying to be offensive "does it not suit your rambo image". I believe rambo is a fictional character who as far as I was aware had no interest in wildfowling........... Yes I do know what puntgunning is but have never tried it.
