I guess the main thing is to get a pup from tested parents, also decide what you want the dog to do "before" you buy a pup. Don't pick a Beddie/Whippet for ferreting and then change your mind and decide you want it to become a fox and deer specialist( when legal)

We seem to have some outstanding dog in this country for our quarry :thumbs-up: :thumbs-up: Also as gavmac pointed out, two or three outings hardly tests the dog and qualifies it for a "working" breeding program. JMO

Unfortunately paca you have been shafted by a scumbag and I feel sorry for both you and the poor terrier thats sold under a lie. The job of getting a mod to vet potential buyers is not feasable, who would put there name to a guarenteed dog or take the time and money to vet people? A mod goes out with a terrier and its dug to fine, what about three digs later when it jacks, or a lurcher that jibs on its tenth fox?
