Couldn't agree more. As Wilf wrote, we would be better off having the values from 60 years ago This country and its people are getting screwed daily.....and its by the people running it. Just look at the increasing prices we pay, fuel, electricity, heating, food, the list is endless.. I had the chance to take my family to Australia 18 months ago and to be quite frank I bottled it because I would miss the good things about this isolated Island. I love the countryside, our wildlife, our culture and history but I feel perhaps I made a bad choice and my children, wife and myself would be happ

I agree with Alimac, I keep koi and is almost impossible to catch them with a net so I'd find it hard to beleive that a fox scopped one out, either it jumped or it was a floater.........

Similar position mate, I live in a very rural area and work 40 miles away. 400 miles a week at £2 a litre = about £150 so I'll be trading in my Navara for Focus estate and if it goes up anymore who knows..............

It was a good show, the 600 mile round trip in one day was a bummer but we enjoyed it. We were up and ready for 5am, got there at 1145 before leaving at 1530 and getting in at 2300..........Didn't want to get out of bed this morning. Who won best terrier, some nice Patterdales, Jason Powell had a nice dog in the entered class?

There was a bitch wearing a harness in the entered class at the Welsh yesterday, was it yours, looked a spitting image of her?

The Lincolnshire show is different to the game fair that started this year. Their is very little hunting or countrysports related and you can't take dogs...............

You can't be fined if your dog fouls on private land, woodland and grass verges with a speed limit of more than 40mph. Common land is open to the public so it is an offence not to clear up after your dog............

As a kid I was obsessed with Star Wars and had all the figures, space ships etc etc still boxed and when I got to 18 thought I'm too old for this and sold the lot to a mate for £50 and six months later it bacame all the rage again and I found out it was worth thousands............
