  16. Hi Daniel, It is easier to store and feed kibble but if you switch to RAW you will really be improving your dogs health. I get all my meat from Landywoods, google it as they deliver to most of the country. Storage can be a pain, I bought a chest freezer for the garage and store it in there. I get carcases, lamb ribs, necks and wings (60%) and add minced beef/lamb/chicken/tripe and veg. You can find a list of acceptable foods on the BARF site. I also add oily fish which contains essential fatty acids for brain development. I add sardines and whitebait mainly. I also give occasiona
  17. Your vet is an idiot Dogs get ALL the essential nutrients from raw, a balance of 60% raw meaty bones such as chicken carcases, wings etc and 40% minced meat, veg, fish and fruit. This contains ALL the essential vitamins and minerals. Kibble contains grain which is NOT natural to the dogs digestive system and has been linked to colitis, allergies and a list of problems. Vets AREN'T canine nutritionists
  18. yes mate ive already done a bit of reading on BARF..... currently feeding him on puppy complete kibble "with chicken and rice".. with a bit of raw mince beef and a little bit of sardine... he loves it... He went to the vet yesterday for his first jab, the vet said he is very healthy looking just a tiny bit podgey around the middle lol... so i have made his meals slightly smaller now. he weighed 4.4 kgs. he is very big for his age (just under 8 weeks) ... was the biggest in his litter Daniel, your a very naughty boy. If you have been doing your research you should dump the kibble
  19. Don't worry, if you want to learn more about canine nutrition google BARF
  20. Yes mate, no problem at all. fat is an essential part of a nutritional diet anyway although I have no idea of the fat content in a pigs ear.
  21. Yep, all the time. Keep feeding them, they are great for helping to develop neck and jaw muscles and keep the dogs occupied. Unless your feeding 30 a day I wouldn't worry about the fat content
