You are keeping your hutch clean which helps, I feed mine in the evening and remove the meat the next morning.

Hi Jim, I believe it was me who said vets are not nutritionists, It wasn't meant as a critisism just a point. I too went to university and studied animal science and one area I did lot of research and assignment writing was on canine nutrition, this research included a lot of analysis into the commercial feeds and extended into the raw route and after trying it with one of my dogs that had never looked "right" regardless of the dry food tried. After switching to raw I noticed a dramatic improvement and I have seen this with many other dogs when the diet is changed. I would never switch

Sorry Jim, I don't agree at all. For you to state that feeding raw produces malnourished pups and that its crap advice shows how little you understand feeding raw food. As skycat, wink, ditch, Neil etc have written I wouldn't feed any of the dry foods, do the resarch and i'm sure you would switch in a heartbeat. Mine are raised and reared on a raw and are better for it.

I would think if it was a badger you would be in a world of shit. If it was a fox then you could argue that accidents happen. Although I'd love to hear the explanation to the judge............................. I can imagine it now Mark............."Yes your honour, I tried my best to call the dogs off and stop them as soon as possible" Judge.............."Why are there 35 photos of the battle then" Mark........."erm"

ooty I think you will find that alimac is into working lurchers and terrier too. I perfer to see dogs working but I also shoot, I shoot around livery stables and farms reducing the pigeon population where a dog is of no use. Lets not divide a them and us between different fieldsports, we are all in this together............. P.S. Ooty, were you in a band with the blowfish?
