  1. TM, as Aaron has said, its not having another dog in the house, its the fact that his missus doesn't want another dog period. As my wife once said, "why do you want another one?", its not there "thing" so they don't understand. As for the ultimatums, family comes before dogs even if at times its frustrating, annoying and infuriating........... P.S. Aaron you told me you cut a old biddy up on the M1 and she chased you for six junctions and battered you with an umbrella, tahts what caused the injuries??? Looks sore mate
  2. I'd be happy with him Wilf, although I think my wife could give Aarons missus a run for her money in the muller your husband stakes.............. Don't mention mercy cases, we had worked a scenario out for Aaron and that didn't work........... P.S. Wilf, I'll get in touch later tonight, left messages for G but he still hasn't contacted me.
  3. Gutted for you Aaron Fellas I was with Aaron yesterday when he got this pup. Its in excellent health and very well socialised, as Aaron says it was interacting with people of all ages and other dogs calmly and confidently. Should make someone a cracking dog. P.S. Sorry Aaron
  4. Of course you want others to put photos up, thats why you started the thread surely? Wouldn't be much point otherwise. Seems only fair to stick a photo up of your tykes
  5. Yes, it was a good show. Nice to see Tomo and Strong stuff...who came away with more than he planned

  8. Take the time and do some research rather then just "walk straight in", a mixture of wings, carcases, fruit, veg and fish. There is lots on the internet.
  9. I've got the book somewhere, it was a good series, they went coursing and ratting if I remember correctly?

The age of the dog or owner..........
  13. I like a meal and pint in a local country pub but the thought of what I used to enjoy, drinking in town repulses me...... I prefer a night or out but with good company..............Although with little kids its usually meeting up with friends for a meal at each others houses............
  14. Oh I don't know Kay, don't get me started on fuel, heating oil or goverment tax increases..............
  15. Mushrooms Kay Life is not a dress rehersal, enjoy it and leave your mark. The most important things in my life, the things that really matter are waiting at home for me when I get in from work, everything else is secondary.................
  16. Good read Stevo, sounds like a nice fella you got the pup from.
  17. Where? "There on the stair!!!!!!" Couldnt help meself!! Simoman! Thats ok, I was hoping someone might "get it" and reply
  18. Sounder, I've just watched the you tube link, very moving. I'm very sorry for your families loss and I hope they get some peace when this person is found.
  19. Why is it when a female member joins all the frustrated leeches crawl from the woodwork???? Willrennyferreter, you must only be 11, do your parents know you are on this site?
  20. I've never bred a lurcher litter but I'm assuming most don't want to breed from fighters? Dog aggression and "fire" (I assume you are meaning guts?) are two very different traits. Why would a fighter put more effort into live quarry than a lure? Its about canine aggression and not prey drive........
  21. Good luck selling the pups but diggings still legal mate
  22. We stay on an estate north of Inverness and the keeper told me the Pine martins (and Scottish wildcats) are common enough to be a pest when they put birds down.
