  2. I had a dog who damaged his crucuate ligament, it looked harmless as he just knocked his leg jumping but he was screaming with pain. I took him to the vet and to cut a long story short the dog was on lead exercise and cage rest for 6 months, I beleive this would have been avoided if I hadn't been a prat and asked to see another vet. This happened fouyr years ago and the dog has never fully recovered. The dog won't display injury signs when on the Rimadyl as its an anti-inflamatory which releives the pain.
  3. Did the vet prescribe Rimadyl? Could be a variety of things including ligament damage, if your concered I would go for a second opinion. I should have asked for a second opinion with one of mine after an injury a few years ago and learnt my lesson.

How many chicken wings would you give a dog a day mate? Sized about 40 lbs, active most of the day. Been giving him 2 or 3 with his complete but would rather go completely raw .............   9. Kay, my old boy gets non sabacious cysts (skin tags), some look like that and stay under the skin and feel like hard lumps, other look like warts and are removed via a ligature..............

  13. I clip wings, some lighter breeds will clear that height easily but you should be ok.

  15. Hi Lindsay, Small amounts of oil, either salmon, flaxseed or cod liver oil are beneficial to the dogs diet. Have you thought of adding tinned sardines twice a week to the dogs diet? They contain essential fatty acids.........
  16. Could quite easily be a grass seed lodged in the ear canal, very irritating for the dog.
