neck the rabbit while the dog still as hold of it then walk away but keep an eye on her , when she losens her grip to get it confy in her mouth take it of her and praise her like hell ,she'll soon learn , worked for me
a year old for big dogs and ten month for little dogs (whippet xs) and only give them a couple of slips a week.
got a whippet/grey here she as been out watching and run 3 times , once one night caught one and took her home , then 2 week later took out gave 2 runs missed the first caught the second so took her home...... so as to finish the night on a high with a catch and loads of praise so she knows she is doing good...
every body as there own way but thats mine ...
Another year will make it 21 month old.....................
i know people who have bred dogs at that age ....... both dam and sire not even 2 ....... idiots if you ask me
did you take the bitch to a running dog vet?
if not i would before you do something stupid and breed off her..... she is still growing and devolping and could make a full recovery
in working dogs its more the fact a dog should be proven not on age ........ a ten year old dog wots seen feck all isnt really a good stud to use .
but a dog can be used from about 10 month old ....... but isnt really ideal .
any pics pal?
Go on my mates wall an mail him, he has a ridgexbullx grey. For what it is bred for you would not look any further an i no 100% he would take a challenge from anyone with a bull x. . Joedog look it up. .
isnt joedogs a bull/ridge/grey ???????????????
i used to own a half x one , he was used for deer mainly (pre-ban) . he was worked with ferrets and on the lamp did take fox but hadnt done many ...
sold him last year biggest mistake ever ........ would have him back tomorrow if i could
that would make it
1/8 beddie
1/8 greyhound
1/8 wheaton
5/8 whippet
but as alot of people have said genes dont work out exactly like that...it may throw to the wheaton etc
it would only be that if the dam was a half x beddy/grey to a half x wheaton/whippet ......... if either of the dams parents where 3/4 xs it wouldnt work out like that...
mexlad if you really want to know what percentages your dog is then you need to know what percentage the dam was.
you need to know how each dog is bred ..ie half x beddy/grey or 1/4 before you can work out what a pup will be
chids 3/8 manc,5/8 midjit
feck you , your just a wanna be jock
