(That will explain some of the annual disappearance of 10,000 ex-racing greyhounds.) Dogs were dispatched with a blow to the head from a captive bolt gun and then (and this was his downfall), Smith buried them in his one-acre garden. He was content to advise the same officers that it would take about three years to fill the garden, then he would start at the b
  2. And thats another annoying fact is the double standards that they set................. no they wouldnt , you can cull your own dog with a bolt gun , boy was doing it with greyhounds and they couldnt do him for it.. they did do him for burying the dogs on his land though

  16. the 2004 hunting act covers england and wales only, scotland have their own hunting act from 2002 i think, the north of Ireland doesn't have a hunting act. every thing bar broc is fair game deer is illegal in the north with dogs unless you have a licence (staghound packs) thats for packs, still legal with lurcher if you have perm. All species of deer in Northern Ireland are protected under the terms of the Wildlife Order. It is illegal to kill deer by means other than shooting and there are closed seasons during which deer cannot be shot. Only certain sorts of guns and ammunit

  20. should of had a litter out of her already, id put a good saluki, bull, bedlington, wheaten, whippet, collie, kelpie, deerhound, greyhound over her should have plenty of stamina from the saluki , good feet from the collie and kelpie not to mention the ease of training , plenty of fire from the terrier breeds , and make a good size because of the deerhound ... failing that id wait a couple of years while working her hard and also try finding a dog which you'd like a pup out of and go on your own opinions and not that of someone elses
  21. And by the time I find a pup rare it bring it on and get it working to a good standard the other 2 will be slowing down and won't be long off retirement
  22. I keep 2 but would like another because one dogs a spoon and only runs rabbits and the other dogs a retard
