Nope , irish hare are the same species as the mountain hareNo they're not bud......they're their own species. Totally different in habits than a Blue hare...at present they are classified as a sub-species of the Blue hare but i think that they will be classified as their own free-standing species soon...So are there any brown hares in Ireland? yes

Could be just stuck rings if it wasnt run for that long , try taking the spark plug out and spraying aload of wd40 into the bore and leaving to sit for a few days wind the engine over before putting the spark plug in and see what happens ..
