  1. Shes going to be doing parties as a body double for mick hucknal. Singing "moneys to tight to mention"
  2. Yeah back when i was a kid i did work experience on a big shoot in cambridgeshire and they shot a lot of hares to avoid attracting what they called "the dids" and coursing wasn't even banned back then.
  3. They actually advertised what they were planning! And why tf would anyone go out mob handed like that anyway? Dorset Police Rural Crime Team WWW.(!64.56:886 RURAL CRIME | We have received intelligence to suggest that a large gathering of people suspected to be taking part in an illegal poaching and hare coursing event is...
  4. The idea is to let the dog know hes done good. You already caught the rabbit and you dont need more. The more fuss made the better. The dog wants to please you, let him see that he has done and he will do it again
  5. 2 ways. 1) Take the dog out somewhere where you can shoot. Even if only with an air rifle. Shoot a rabbit. Then take the dog for a walk. If the dog doesn't find the rabbit that you shot then you "find" it and make a big fuss. Jump about and scream, throw it, let the dog chase it, play tug of war. You will see a different dog next time he sees a rabbit. 2) If you can ferret a rabbit, catch it in a net and take the dog for a walk out somewhere where there's no rabbit holes. Get out in the middle of a green or football field etc and drop the rabbit. The rabbit will run but not find cover,
  6. She will suss it out eventually. If you can take her out with an experienced dog it will help a lot. Also, let her eat a rabbit. Worm her afterwards cos they are riddled with crawlers.
  7. When a bitch gets pregnant the tapeworm cysts that are laying dormant in her muscles wake up and will be infect her and also they migrate to her milk bar to infect the pups. That's why both need to wormed. The pups should be wormed every 2 weeks. Its a two pronged attack to kill off the worms
  8. Make sure shes wormed too. Or she will pass worms to the pups
  9. While pregnant twice is fine. Make sure to give lots of ricotta and goats milk. And some calcium in the form of egg shells or raw chicken on the bone. One they are born play it by ear. I use 1 carton of goats milk and one tub of ricotta a day. After 2 weeks they should start weaning. At that point, soak the puppy kibble in warm goats milk and ricotta, also add a squirt of honey. As the pups grow you will need to increase how often you feed them. By the time they are 6 weeks old youlle probably be feeding 4 times a day. Try to take the load off the mother as much as you can. Producing milk take
  10. Iv never seen them used so i may be wrong but lets say this covers 10 holes. Now a rabbit bolts. Suddenly you have 10 un netted holes. If another rabbit bolt from any of those 10 holes it gets away. Also, doesn't it pick up a lot of debris? Or get stuck up on little bushes and so on?
  11. So can we. We just have to dispose of them afterwards lol
  12. Welp he did say "i think its worth it to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the 2nd amendment". I assume he was ok with his death by gun as well, or did he just mean some random kids hes never met in their classroom?
  13. True but this is just another nail in the coffin. Joe pubic sees that and thinks all of us are scum. They dont see that 99% of us are decent and respectful or the ones of us who go out of our way to pick up litter and drop a bottle of whiskey off to a landowner who does give us permission etc. So if the ban ever does come up for another vote they just think "f**k that lot of oiks" and the ban stays
  14. Stupid mothers c**t couldnt even keep his cake hole shut. The public see this vid and decide to uphold the ban. Load of f***ing pricks
  15. You dont need to get rid of anything. Theres always a turf bog to walk the dogs on. And the rifles can be licensed same as the uk. Although you need a separate license for each gun unlike the uk.
  16. I had a dog bred from 2 hancock dogs. He did the job on everything i put in front of him. Would have another quite happily
  17. At 4 and half months old id start looking at adult feeds. May a week of adult and puppy together 50/50 and then knock the puppy feed out. If you have a source of raw i would be using that as well, just as a treat. A chicken wing when the pup has done something right will feed and keep occupied for a while.
  18. MUCH to high protein for a pup. Find a lower protein food. You will find a lot of your problems will go away
  19. DE is shit. Never rated it. If you can find any get ficam w and spray it on all floors, walls etc. Back it up with a coopex smoke. And give the dogs bravecto. If you cant find ficam the active ingredient is bendiocarb, look on alibaba or aliexpress for it. And if you can, burn their bedding. Thats the breeding ground.
  20. Got nicked a few times for carrying a knife, or what they called an offensive weapon. Some of the things iv done and not got caught for have been mind blowing. Nothing that hurts anyone but still i wouldnt wanna get caught for it Christ i was a c**t back in the day now that i look back on it. Im to old to do anything now lol
  21. Yeah she got scratched apparently in Morocco
  22. If you are UK based theres nothing to worry about, theres no rabies in the uk.
  23. My boy is 16 now. And 1 16th beddy, the rest whippet. In his day he was dynamite. Once when lamping i had 5 rabbits in hand still alive because i didn't have to time to neck them as he caught them and zoomed off after another one. He wasn't really fast enough for hares or big enough for deer but he was terrific on rabbits which is what he was for. He was happy to dive into gorse bushes to get to a rabbit (hence the ear), good jumper, put his heart into everything. This pic is him chasing a jack rabbit in California
  24. I never said a sport trainer, he needs a good trainer who can get the dog perfect. They need to obey commands INSTANTLY 100% of the time. And they need to use their judgement and NOT attack when appropriate and to STOP an attack on command. I wouldn't be able to get a dog to that level. Neither would most of us. But if that dog bites just once when it isn't appropriate there's hell to pay, understandably. A good, experienced trainer is worth their weight in gold
