no argument intended her but to say a pit is not athletic seems a little harsh,most ive seen are very athletic (most bred for the job) not the big boy show sh!t.would like to see a dogo cross though.

if the foot looks as if its almost rocking on its self could be ferther up the hock there are two boney plates held by tendrons these get damaged and the foot splays exspencive to repair,that is one thing it could be difficult we out seeing it in the flesh all of this is just supersision.good luck.

just remember to balance it mate plenty of calcium and vits minerals from bones there a must beef chicken fish hearts small quantitys of liver and kidney only small quantitys fresh pulped veg yogert small amounts good for gut,reserch barf diet plenty to go at on internet best of luck.

if you like indian food then tandoori or tikka is good cook in oven first as with chicken i like to skewer it we peppers onions and put in pitta bread.dont know about hare though. -

working to nets yes but if i wanted a dog to do the rest i would get a lab or spanial so when you go out on a night looking to fill the pot you take your lamp and maybe an air rifle to smack a few pigeons or pheasants your lurcher would not do what you required. im not sure what your getting at, no mention of that in this.

i know some lads and lasses think to be an all round lurcher it has to take rabbit fox deer but im not so sure,deer maybe yes fox ok not a must hare the ocasional one but what about working to nets retrieving shot game day or night and from out of cover or water, ferreting day time hunting up night work we nets you know the score so what lads floats your boats.not trying to say any of wich should make the all round dog but whats your opinion.
