Haven't been out much with the air rifle of late due to having a young pup to pander to, but a couple of weeks ago i went out lamping in the p155ing down rain. Left the gun out until it appeared to be dry, then wiped down the exterior with some silicon oil. Took it out yesterday, and when i cocked the barrel, i saw there was rust on the barrel side and piston side of the breech. So what to do i understand shouldn't use silicon on metal to metal areas, so should i rub a little gun oil in the area, or will that cause rubber seals to wear? Sorry if any of this has been covered before/are stup

sat here in a pantera t-shirt! Probably my fav band ever, glad i saw them back in 2000. Reckon dimebag was the best guitarist in metal of the 90's.

If i were you i would wright a carefully worded letter, and if it doesn't get printed start ringing them and complain about unbalanced reporting.

Never liked the guard breeds, always thought they were just for people to look 'ard, but a couple of years ago a good friend of mine got 2 for security around the farm, and they certainly look the part! However i think that their characters are fantastic, so clever and easy to train. I would definatly look at a cross with GSD in the breeding if i were to get another lurcher.

air arms in my xl.

My phobia is earwigs, and wild rats, i will scream if i see either near me. Both are wierd, cause till last year i worked in a petshop as the 'exotic pet specialist', dealing with everything from scorpions to pythons, and tame rats were about the only furry thing i would pick up. Oh yeah and i hate hamsters with a passion, most vicious creature known to man in my opinion!

Good news, all this action from one documentary on the beeb! just hope it's not a case of too little too late.

interesting to see that the A R side isn't interested in maintaining biodiversity, or management of wildlife, I literally can't believe that these 'people' claim to be animal lovers, they don't have the foggiest!

Difference between the girl from the animal resuce, and the 2 veggies, both claim to be animal lovers, but one actually helps animals out rather than basically just being a whinger, knows what she's talking about as she has a genuine interest and can look at things rationally, and the others just make squeaky noises, are ill informed at best, and when put under pressure can't put forward anything near a rational arguement for their point of view.

she would 'usher' rats out of her home!? and the other anti saying use natural methods to control rabbits!? what like myxi i suppose ridiculous. I think through this programme that i've worked out veggies though, what they are getting wrong is they confuse death with suffering, and i think that by definition death removes all potential for suffering.

what is that blonde 'thing', her arguement is that everyone should be popping pills from boots to get their nutrients, and she's anaemic!!! Probably the best pro hunting advert on this programne yet!

when i was a kid, i had a hamster rabbit, guinea pig, budgie, fish, and then i got into reptiles, even worked with them for a couple of years till recently, over the years ive had, european green treefrogs, whites treefrogs, rough scaled green snakes, royal pythons, boa constrictors, corn snakes, moorish geckos, house geckos, green anoles, brown anoles, basilisks, and various others passing through. Having worked in the pet industry, i can't under stand people keeping rodents, i hate them all! except rats and degus, i am terrified of wild rats, but tame rats are awesome deffo recommend the

I know it's difficult but try not to worry about it, my pup was diagnosed on her first visit to the vets as having a slight heart murmor, and i left feeling really gutted. So i did alot of research, even talking to a friend who is a midwife about murmors in babies! It is common in baby animals, as the heart seperates into 2 halves, during the process of being born. In some it just takes a few weeks after birth for the process to complete properly. Also on the net i found the opinion that some newly qualified vets would diagnose a heart murmor, because in an alround healthy pup they would f

Ok here goes i've got an old webley vulcan, which i believe is a mk1, It's pretty rough, tried re-blueing it at home, but it's not a good job. The fore sight was removed prior to me purchasing it. A couple of months ago i put it into keen's guns and tackle, and they said it was knocking out about 9ft/lb, after they replaced the spring. It has a hawke 3-9x40 scope fitted with 2 piece mounts, and can come in a green slip. Shown in the pick is a webley scilencer fitted, however i removed this as i didn't think much of it, but you can have it although it has been knocking about in my boot for a

Indeed spike i find that they are useful in many situations! wish they wouldn't put those holes in the bottom though, and allow bunny juice to leak out into the floor of my dads 4x4! spud the farmer wasn't happy, reckoned he'd counted 130, and wanted to know why i hadn't shot them all!!!
-
Alright llyr im from town, daniel, i don't have a lot of pemission, but the land where these were shot is along side a railway embankment, in the summer i've never seen numbers of rabbits like it, and the farmer really wanted the numbers, which is why i shot the small ones, i'd leave them if it wasn't pest control!
-
yeah first cross, think she'll turn out racier than i expected, oh and jart she loves the pats, but just samples a little of each we come across
-
and a few ferals, shot with a friend on his farm, before we started culling, there were about 40 of them nestingand crapping all over the farm machinery!

Just managed to get some pics off my phone on to the computer, most of these were taken in the summer, when shooting to try and clear rabbits for a farmer.
