  1. No idea buddy. I bought thousands of primers yonks ago. The powders I have are from my loading 357 days. The wads for the above load are kitchen towel, just don't tell the Mrs.
  2. It's no Hassel. All loaded with hand tools. Besides, flying stuff I really struggle with my air gun.
  3. So, I been fiddling. Got the wood looking better even if it is knackered! Also been developing a garden load. Using a small amount of green dot and a tiny 7g of shot it is garden quiet! No one heard a thing. The next squirrel scratching at my nuts is in for a surprise! That two shots on the card at 25yards. 20 I consider a max distance. Green dot is way to fast for normal 410 loads so do use it for that! You been warned!! It makes a lot of pressure QUICKLY. To QuiCK for normal 410 loads. I have sign of good pressure via flattened primer
  4. The first thing that jumps out is "mitigate". They want to be free from responsibility as we all know they never check once you give them permission to check your records. It's a cost cutting and responsibility cutting exercise that will prevent zero crime anyway!
  5. Bloomin' Eck, they have some shot in them. Me like ?
  6. It's ok, I started repeating myself too. Some folk just don't see a trap when it's put even under their nose.
  7. It's folks like Gaz I feel sorry for up Scotland. I mean it's bad enough a thistle going up yer skirt, sorry, kilt, but a swarm of midges around your goollies would put me off wearing a skirt for life! Sorry, kilt (dumb auto correct)!
  8. Didn't you have your old spice on mate. Kills flies on contact ? It was stupid hot. I stayed in the shade. It cooled down nice in the evening here.
  9. Got me a moded 410 Friday. It is a Baikal with a stock repair and quite frankly it's a bad repair! It needs another stock. I see them on eBay but have no idea how inter changeable they are! They are over priced articles but I like it. It is very quiet indeed. I bets with some of my reloads I could use it in the garden! It is quite heavy I must add too! Anyone fiddled with Baikal stocks? Are they interchangable? Anyway here is a photo, oh and numb nuts, I disturbed an afternoon love session I think!
  10. The rabbit is in decline and this saddens me. Buzzards, badgers, fox, myxy and vhd. It's relentless for the humble rabbit.
  11. At last some grass been cut so out I scuttled. I stood above a cut field and watched go dark. I was about to move off when suddenly to my left of the gate I was leaning on a fox appeared no more than 50yards away! It was one I had been after for a while. Turned out to be a dog fox and there could be others but I saw none. The 50grn wmr bullet raked it front to back and stopped it there and then but not dead. It wouldn't of taken long but there was no need to add to the lads burden and so another shot was made. SD.
  12. 2&1/2lb is my max I can live with and no mushy feeling or creep. I get my cheap airguns better than some off the shelf rifles! My new to me marlin 22 breaks without me noticing now. Before the work it was shotgun grade!
  13. That's why I said I was expecting a complaint about the trigger on a tbolt! I know as an airgunner myself this gent will be use to excellent triggers! It is sad that American and or rifles made for America have triggers now that frankly belong on shotguns and with some models that is debatable! Some belong on toy guns!
  14. It's a bit of a myth the cubs starve. They can survive on next to nothing and don't forget, the dog and aunts maybe helping too!
  15. Plastic stocks ? What about the environment? Who wants plastic stocks washing up on the beach? Disgusting!
  16. I knew you were going to say this! Horrid triggers. Never done one but I would have to try.
  17. Me too afraid. You'll soon lose ground like that buddy.
  18. Ahhh. Curry night. My Mrs makes a good chillie but by eck lad....the next day when it's fermented ! ?
  19. Is that your toilet roll you carry with you stav? I only take a pocket full just in case you know. It must be a chore carrying a full roll ?
  20. I've cut the chuffin' grass now, bloody hell....
  21. No, it's just cried so much and the meds have made it sleepy that's all.
  22. Is your magpie decoy feeling left out, depressed and feeling rejected? Dont worry, help is at hand. I have formed a charity where upon all neglected and down trodden magpie decoys can find friends. You can send your unwanted plastic magpies to me and I will find new locations for them where they need not ever be alone again. Introduced to a partner they will be able to sit on or by an ideal hedge or bush passing the time as they were meant to. This service is totally free but any donation is greatfully received. So do your loyal Maggie a favour and send him or her to me FO
