As I have said a bull x won't do what your coursing bred can do like wise vicesa versa it's horses for courses mc and many bull xs fail as well but the truly tested ones your coursing bred wouldn't or couldn't match week in week out .?

Ok I have personally seen bull xs take numerous quarry single handed in a night were a coursing bred wouldn't take one ? I have seen a few minshaws or collie xs take numbers or gear on ground your coursing breds couldn't or wouldn't face the task not saying all couldn't but most wouldn't but you are kennel blind mc

I will go one one better you having slop trotters that you think can do what a decent bull x does or do regular its when there put on stuff that bites back or big gear that doesn't want to be pulled backed you find there lacking but horses for courses but I will say I think lines like minshaw or heavy collie influenced mutts beat your slop trotters on most ground and quarry and numbers ?

The best round the family dogs I owned were bull xs even though I never trust any dog were kids are theses had the best temps round kids I found them very protective and loving .a lot depends on how theses American bull dogs types are bred and brought up and what manners and temp the parents have .I can't believe how some buy on a wim knowing nothing about its history they have but I have zero tolerance were kids are involved regarding aggression no matter how good the dog is

I get what your saying but what does summer running prove ? What's the difference in taking your pups out in Oct the hares aren't at there strongest and your pups can still use there nose

Bred 47 terrier pups and none were a failure that says it all about him amongst his other claims

Sorry hull your in the wrong here what are you expecting running in summer what that can't be run in say Oct or Nov when the ground is softer if pups are going to make it they will it's as you say it's either in them or not but summer running will tell you nothing on any quarry when winter comes that's when you really find out as you know
