-
Thank you jon,was a tasty bit of grub, lovely bit of lamb you've got there?will make for a proper dinner, yes like me taters with a bit of crunch mate haha
-
Been a very good man in his day frampton, fairplay on a great career Looked a bit like man vs boy in there last night didn't it,
-
Frampton vs herring tomorrow, really hoping carl can do it?knows his job very well and definitely has the tools to get it done. Framptons definitely on the slide and this is the best chance for him to win a belt at 130 Wouldn't like to see him box at this weight too often

Fancied a bacon pudding but not turning my nose up at this?
-
Well done to Whyte, done his job?? Respect to Povetkin for a great career? On to the next one now for Whyte Will he take this momentum and run with it and be a world beater and reach the peak of the div,I doubt it,but I'm not here to knock him he got the W

100%? Many reckoned cheeseman wasn't that able though, despite his amateur pedigree, and expected Metcalf to see to him, both fighters gave a great account of themselves,Metcalf is a sharp boxer, just happy to see the big cheese win like that ?
-
Not enough brains to fill a smartie Sykes had potential as a gloved pro but ended up a drunkard getting pissed on in a doorway Prime for prime I reckon he would have given mclean all sorts of bother, but then again if I had wheels I'd be a bus These tough men are ten a penny, game to the last and willing to have it at the drop of a hat,but seldom are they clued up or savvy enough to be anything other than a chest beating moron chasing a reputation that doesn't make them bulletproof If that life doesn't prove fruitful for you then wtf was it all about
-
Yes Metcalf is no slouch That was the best I've seen ted though??
-
Great performance from cheeseman

Being lean and that can be overestimated sometimes,I'm no expert but you need to be at a level where you're leaned up and still have plenty of energy and I think if you strip off too much it can be harmful to your energy and performance Horses for courses though, and each man will function differently at different levels of body fat etc You need to be in functional shape, you might not look ready for the stage but if you are functional you've done your job??
-
Goes without saying that if you haven't got it in the mind and heart then you are f****d Like them people who look sharp on the bag, sharp on the pads, but never have there gumshield on sparring nights or go to pieces before a bout, because they haven't got that one ingredient you cannot teach which is the heart and the mind as you say Just meant that if you're not conditioned you are on the back foot straight away, some fighters have all the heart and mind and it gets them bashed up where they are so competitive and won't quit, there's no longevity in that but if you have that spirit and

Good post and I agree?it's won and lost with your conditioning, like a high performance car with a dodgy clutch and a f****d engine it doesn't matter what it looks like on the outside if it's inside is damaged,it just looks good for nothing? Won't do it's job if it's not in working order, same for a fighter

Yeah Whyte let him get too comfortable,we will soon see mate?I still think Povetkin has enough left in him to do what he done last time if Whyte doesn't put him on the seat of his pants sharpish which we all know he can Will agree Povetkin isn't the fighter he once was which is only natural, time is never on a fighting mans side
-
Wouldn't judge povetkin being shot on his shape, especially considering last time out he knocked Whyte out hard despite giving away rounds and being knocked down himself Boxing isn't mr Olympia, and shape at times can mean nothing when a big shot lands ,I prefer a fighter in good shape but a tubby Ruiz still stopped AJ and big George foreman hardly looked like he was carved out of stone and he was a very good fighter,,anything can happen in heavyweight boxing I agree with you that Whyte could win easy, and I think last time he just let Povetkin get to comfortable tell the truth, despit
-
Whyte needs to remember his success in the first few rounds of their last bout and run with it,and get the job done quick,I feel if it goes past 6-7rounds he's in trouble I fancy Povetkin underestimated Whyte a bit first time out aswell, and may come out trying to end it as soon as he can If he's mentally spot on that's a very good sign as like mentioned he is a big rough and very game man who is more than capable of stopping Povetkin, who to be fair was getting beat about a bit in the first fight Povetkin can still turn it on and is a wiley old fighter though,I don't think Whyt

Well that went pear shaped.. Poor little f****r

I'm gonna have a lovely lamb madras tonight with more sides than you can shake a stick at that's a good news story to me ?
-
Nothing surprises me anymore
-
Yeah hagler actually got the sick of not being introduced as marvellous marvin didn't he so he went and got his name changed in court
-
Love a early morning get out?good shots an all baggin those squirrels?
-
Ain't you thought about making your own?
-
We will see who gets the W after the two fight,I say it will be tyson,Joshua has done well and made the best of what he's got in other fights yes,not saying he hasn't That's the trouble with these internet places it seems you can't weigh your opinion in favour of somebody without being called a "groupie" or something? Was pretty fair about Joshua in my post i thought, and for what it's worth I'm a boxing man who thinks it's great the biggest fight in world boxing will be between two of our boys?
-
One thing I don't understand is with Tysons style he gets plenty of stick, but on the other hand when Joshua beat Ruiz in the rematch "he done his job","done what he had to do" ?to me he just jabbed and played a very safe game,,but personally after that shock loss I'd have thought he would have had a bit more about him and went for the stoppage, but at the end of the day a win is a win and he won? But Tyson would get stick for the same showing - personally, although the outcome of one fight doesn't mean to say it gives an insight into what might happen in another,I think if Tyson comes ou
