    Well I sent Sam FROM Nitesite a picture of my nitesite rangefinder and he said the new weaver L- bracket will fit my rf so he,s sending me one out foc... ☺

    The scope needs Moving back a touch, but it would mean both mounts being mounted on the rail behind the magazine, so the scope would be front heavy with no support if you know what I mean....

    Popped over to the perm last night for a play with the photon, couple of missed opportunity's, but the moon being out didn't help casting shadows everywhere and I was lit up like a beacon, but I did manage this 40yarder which I got on video too haha.. Liking the photon, just need to practice my stealth mode as I'm too noisy and clumsy haha..

    Just a quickie.. When you lot have finished with your photon, I assume you take the battery holder out of the photon incase it gets turned on accidentally and runs flat, do you take the batteries out of the holder and leave them loose or just leave them in the holder, (I'm not sure if they,ll charge down if left in the holder)... Thankyou...

    Can't imagine what your your feeling mate, but £1600-£1700 for a sub 12 is a lot of pennies, OK it's looks great excellent shot capacity in all calibres and accurate, but hw100 half the price you know the build quality, reliability and accuracy of the hw100-110,in my eyes I would go for the hw, shot count is low compared to the impact,have you shot a sub 12 impact...

    What size do you use? Just been looking on toolstation and for m5 hex nuts they were 64p for a 100 pack.

    Hi.... I've only used it once so far and I was happy with it, so the more I use it the more. I,ll get to know how to get the best from it, should of been out tonight but didn't come off so hopefully tomorrow night, and your right, on top of the hw100 with the added rf, it's a heavy load to drag around,i guess you mean the pulsar dnv pack? Oh and nice shooting by the way ?

    Hopefully I'm out tonight so I,ll have 8 rechargeables at the ready so should give me 4-5 hours of use, I,ll take the optic-fire xc50 for curiosity sake and see if picture quality differs that much, but I think it,ll be just more batteries if needed...

    Worth a try cheers, I have got the optic-fire xc50 with both 850ir pill and 940ir pill, just didnt really want to add an Xtra ir to it, as already have rangefinder fitted...thankyou for the advice pal... ?

    Well decided to go up to the perm last night to try the photon rt our using the onboard IR, to be ho est I didn't know what to expect with all posotive/negative reviews on it, and I'm quite impressed I hooke up the nitesite rangefinder to it for obvious reasons, now I had it fixed to my R10se 25cal sub 12, zeroed at 20yds that same day so it was case of trying the photon out for visibility and such like with the chance of maybe a close range deaf/dumb rabbit ☺, that deaf/dumb rabbit didnt appear, but I was able to get In as close as 30yds but didn't take the shots as only had the one sightmar

    He has sent me a couple of pics with the new bracket against the d bracket and defo won't fit the old rf...
