Got to that farm last night for 7.30,not had time to have a daylight mooch so guessing really, sat and waited in a couple of Likely looking spots and never seen a thing apart from the farm cat, and the hooting of an owl, stayed till 10.30 and came home, told the guy I could do with a daytime visit to see what's what, so hopefully back over the weekend......

Got a call from a mate yesterday who I bought the hw100 off, his daughter has a horse in a local paddock near him and they've seen a few rats lately, so hes asked me to go down tonight and have a bash at them, now he hasn't got a rifle anymore as he sold it to me ☺ so he's borrowing the r10 in 25cal with a red pilled torch and I'm using the hw100 with the photon rt, so hopefully I,ll update later with a few pics.... ? ? ?

He,s. Right jozef,. I have a sub 12fpe 25cal bsa r10.. And trajectory is loopy, the more practice the better, but I've had head shot rabbits upto 40yds, so no worries at 15-20yds ?

I know what your saying matey, but I'm trying to find the best nv spotter to use as a spotter not as an add on.. ?

I'm not looking for another nv scope, I'm happy with the photon I'm looking for a nv spotter that,ll save my arms when spotting for bugsy rather than using the hw & photon combo, I can put the spotter round my neck if you get what I mean...

I was thinking of getting a nv spotter as thermal is very expensive, I've seen the flir scout tk but not sure it would be upto the task so nv I think, just trying to find one that will work and this might be the one, at the moment I'm using the hw100 with photon rt on the primos trigger sticks for spotting but I'm clumsy with the sticks and make too much noise carrying them around, so a spotter would help and just take shots kneeling or prone.......

You mentioned using the add-on as a spotter?was that the crs add on unit,? So it can be used as a spotter without a scope???

Our outside lights are up and on, won't get a tree for another week, then the Dec's go up, at the moment we're wrapping pressies but nearly done, should of gone bunny bashing instead.... ?

Popped into my local RFD today to try and.part ex the bsa r10 for the hw110, it didn't happen but there was the fx crown on display with a viper pro scope on top and looked bloody gorgeous, was very tempted but too many pennies..it had the laminate stock and looked the bees knees.... ? Haha...
