  1. what sort of prices do you get for furs? My friend put up I think 130 coyotes and some fox. The average was 35 -$40 US.
  2. I was wondering if you were allowed to sell the furs from foxes there ? I never see any talk about it or mention if it was leagle or not. Two men I know personally made some nice $$$ this year on fox/coyote the other coon.
  3. Bryan nice looking terrier! A man here in the states had one that looked similar and was 10" and about 11 lbs. Was hell of a grey fox locator in the football size boulder fields in PA.
  4. Fellman break the link in the chain.....PTS those terriers once its been determined like you said its no life.
  5. Yes I've seen it in terrier that were tightly bred and also in foxhounds. I believe the terriers it was a hereditary trait brought out in the in-breeding. The hounds It could not be determined if it was food, water or general conditions as the hound were not related or tightly bred. Both were determined as epileptic fits. The terriers were PTS and the hound went on a low dose of barbiturates and continued to hunt well. The hounds BTW were affected by this as 6 plus year olds the terriers were under two and like others on here were being stressed at the time.
  6. Save your $$$$. When a dog/pup gets on flesh or new feed for the first time its unsettling for the animal. It's like if you hopped on a plane and flew to Mexico and indulged in the local food. If you been out in the woods you'll see fox.coyote.wolves all crap black as -90% of thier diet is flesh. The Black color is un and digested blood. BUT IF YOU SEE BLOOD in the STOOL [red} could be worms whipp/hook or a medical problem that deserves a vet's attention. Good luck
  7. Cirneco dell'Etna X IWH X whippet X Native American Indian Dog http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Native_American_Indian_Dog
  8. I couldnt figure out what the hell it was....... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cirneco_dell'Etna
  9. Be a nice fox dog her in the states. Very nice bitch
  10. When I first got into terriers a person I hunted with had a miniture E.B. . If it was over 70 degrees the dog if pressed would almost die. Other wise he was hell on game.
  11. Is that meant to be "proverbial"? Never mind King's English, that is George Bush English Thats to funny! I knew that spell check was just a click away Lazy American....
  12. then you can tell us what was the taste of his c*ck? Check out the word Scenario before you start haveing a hand shandy. I think the keywords are "I experianced" NWB- I think you need a lesson in the KING'S English perverble and scenario look it up my hungarian brother.
  13. Here is a little scenario You are down at the bar with your friend, lets call him "Robby". Its time to leave and you cant find him, not in the pisser, any where. You go outside and turn the corner and theres Robby on his knees felating another man in a dark alley. Now is this the first time? Will he ever do it again? Who knows but the point is do you ever look at Robby the same ever again? I already know the answer My point is I experianced the perveble "c*ck in the mouth " scenario with RB so when his name is brought UP so do my eyebrows Can everyone be wrong, lieing or just jealou
  14. Probably out digging to their Booth bred terriers I'll be here all weekend dont forget to tip the bartenders
  15. They are Stag Hounds [uSA} bred to run down and dispatch coyotes. They go from 65-95 plus but the norm is 75-85lbs. Sky-the dogs or I are not in any kind of horse back shape So after a 6hr day in the saddle I knew today would be a tough one, but when i woke I was not sore ar all. Any other breed of horse[non-gaited] would have me hobbling around like 90 year old man today. They are the way to go very nice animals to hunt off of or a good mule. LL-I know looks bad with 8 on the ground but when we go like this its a big training/conditioning day for the mutts.pups dont learn anythi
  16. I suggest you get one and grow it on.You will at least learn from experience. Your going of the point. The subject was not about racing and that. Ive heard so much about Glenns from people who heard this and that. I suggest to these people get one and enjoy it.The only advantage I could see your apb having is its legs are longer than my Glenns..Have you a 24lb apb that could bite like a crocodile.I have a Glenn that can. Raymond- I think your missing point and wearing your breed on your sleeve. Doc knows us and knows we are in the States. So his point was why pay the big $$$ for a Glenn whi
  17. We left just as first light came up and headed over to Up Hill’s neck of the desert to a piece that has been shut down to all motorized traffic, hence no coyote rigs. We had along 8 Stags and 3 horses. It was clear and bright compared to the ride last week. I think we rode for a good hour without seeing much with our faces in the wind. We came through a BLM gate and I don’t think it was 10 minutes Capps, and then Hammer spotted a big black coyote heading southwest back into the section we just came from... Literally not more than 10 minutes before this we had a conversation about how bad t
  18. Well spoken Main!.... oops i mean Doc! LOL Word on the street is that there has been some sharin of trouser trout between the two of ya... I dont believe it though. Steady-You know I would never move in on your man crush... Im just sayin for folks like hastings and stuntman that want to use a dog like that, why take a chance on a dog that even in its homeland you cant hardly find a real worker, when you have dogs here already that you can get for free that will do anything the expensive import would do? Take care. Doc -Steady is a power bottom hosting those DNA
  19. I have the best! Mine i have used on bear only,You can see hound, bulldog pointer,Briffon breeze swant I loved to walk hunt with them like they did back in the 1700's when you guys still owned the joint.
  20. Sim- I like this thread and all the replies Luckly I've never had to but the closest I've come was I had quite a few dogs and little money to feed them at one point in my life and they fed themselfs for the most part. I bought a farm a few years back and I had a collie dog run loose for 7 months and I swear she never hit the commercial dog food. Every morning she had something laying at her feet knawing on it But one thing here in the States I see allot is nobody ever really keeps or breeds dogs that if thier life would have to depend on it they could survive some day me included. Its alway
  21. Honeypotts- I personally first hand know of a good bend-over R.B. gave with a coursing greyhound here in the states. I dont dont know how you UK guys roll but you feck someone over once here on a dog deal.....well your card gets punch and you carry that for life. Never mind he was in bed with T.R. who's rep is very poor here in the states no matter what he types on here in rebuttal. Some of the novices just starting off with terriers here fall prey to these type of men, thinking this pup/dog has "special Ferry dust" sprinkled on it because it came from the UK. and the guy has a accent. We are
  22. Grill and Gizzy 9 and 7, Relaxing after bear hunting. Gizzy [stag} with my stab at ferreting. Me praying she wont snatch it out of my hands before the pic was taken. Highly trained animal Grill [3/4 collie greyhound] this year with coyote.
  23. Hastings you left out ERIE From the sounds of it there might be a few left doing the work there. But you read my mind partially The post was a joke but on the other hand it might be a nice dog to try here for those yotes in the ground and at the end of a dig with a badger here. I dont think they are going to ground here at their size on badger. A memeber on here informed me that they sometimes are around 50lbs. Thats to big to work a badger here. But I could have used one the other day as I had a perfect deal on a coyote for a Glenn. Bob I have seen two dogs that have worked Bobs in t
  24. No never. Now there are coyotes and there are coyotes, but they dont give up the ghost with out a scruffel. Thats why its importatnt that your dogs are strait foward, no jacking throat dogs. Pin the business end and nobody gets hurt.Seen allot get the clamp from a coyote on the foot and bring a 80lb Stag to his knees on the catch. They must learn to throat and tuck those feet
  25. Staff-all joking aside they suck, medium coyote dogs at best, but if you want to hunt bring what ya got
