It’s the term tht all of the keepers and landowners use to describe the lads rallying round at night in a motor tearing the place up chasing stuff about and throwing dogs at it. Least that’s what it is all round the arable parts I spend time in.

You realise that mostly when folk refer to ‘coursing’ and ‘coursers’ they aren’t talking about daytime hare coursing ?

I’ve not read through the thread ...... but it’s getting a bit like world war three here now. Sadly there are some real bell ends out and about and that is who gets associated with coursing and hunting. Double figures vehicles out in same fields at night, smashing the f*ck out of gates and fences, threatening folk and stealing stuff. Means that the genuine Lurcher man becomes an east target to get a score on the sheet. Most of those problems only really started when they banned it ironically.

I might have missed it - but with all this smoked meat action, has anyone been making any decent jerky? It’s something I’ve not done and would love to try.
