Nice avoidance ?

I said to you that I had seen one bitch of said breeding do that one time, and that the same bitch was capable of catching some decent bags of rabbits, and we also had success killing deer in the day and on the lamp, and lots of foxes day and night. That is all I said. I did not doubt, that the breeding she was, she was intended to be a terrier mans dog, and she did a lot of that as well. I wasn't suggesting anyone get a 5/8 bull to course hares. Just saying that when you say that every heavily bull blooded dog is useless for anything other than around a hole, i think you're wrong, given what

You seem to read what want to see. You're JUST like whin. I didn't call your dogs crap, and i didn't doubt anything you've said they have done. You asked me for my opinion and if id seen something. I told you my opinion and what I had seen. You called me a liar and an idiot, and when i took offence at that, tried to slag my dogs off. Regardless of your opinion, can you see why that would make me think you're a c*nt. No one thinks you're a c*nt for loving your salukis, or even thinking they are the best dogs in the world. But when you start calling anyone with a different opinion a liar and sla

I told you something I had seen, You called me a liar. That says it all to me. As someone just said to me about you “the mans a f*cking knob head, I don’t know him, and I don’t want to know him”. Couldn’t kill a doubled up fox ? what are you on about you plum. That bitch and her mother will have been some of the hardest bitches I’ve seen abs several folk on here will attest to that. You do not have the first clue on earth about the mother to my pup, her mother or my pup. They would make your coursing dog look like a fecking lap dog ? you seem to hear what you want to h

What I did was I told you a story that’s true and there are other witnesses on here. The bitch in question caught all of those things, she was never ever a hare dog, she just had a big enough heart to stop the odd one or two. She could however kill deer, rabbits and more foxes and other things than I care to remember. She wasn’t owned by me, but by another member on here, who you’ve already tried to belittle once, and she was seen in action by a handful on here. She was mother to the dog I lost last year and is grand mother to my current pup. If you’re gonna start calling me a liar cos it does

I’m not bothered mate. I don’t think I’ve ONCE said saluki xs or coursing dogs are crap, but you’ve spent days telling folk they are idiots, keep crap dogs, don’t do proper hunting, etc etc. Like I said I think you’re probably quite sound, but you are at times coming across like a bit of a know it all bore on here, on a one man mission to promote one x over any other. They make you happy, and that’s what counts.

Out of curiosity are you calling me a liar ? I just told you what I’ve seen and you’re telling me I’m silly? So are you calling me a liar ? It’s a simple yes or no question ?
-
You think a saluki is best ? I didn’t know that. Interesting ?
-
Out of curiosity ? Why do you want everyone to agree with you? Why do you care if they think different ? Just curious ?
-
No you’ve read me wrong I said 5/8 BULL and 3/8 grey. So more bull than a half x.
-
Seen enough to see them catching good bags of rabbits on the lamp, bit if ferreting, catch foxes lamp, deer etc even hares. Ah wait, one wasn’t a half x you’re right. She was 5/8 bull 3/8 grey. Proper slow old thing she was, no stamina, one trick pony. Apart from that time she spent the day picking up partridges on a prestigious southern shooting estate and then killed a good day time hare end of January on a 200 acre field with no fences, with fair law, in front of a bunch of witnesses. And retrieved it to hand. Funnily enough the keeper said the wa

You don’t half talk some shite mate. Without wanting to get into it too much, it’s a bit like saying your saluki crosses are gutless plodders with about as much brain as a rock and the recall of a blind newt.

If I’m honest I like a bit of everything, it would get boring doing the same thing every time. I do go through phases and I’m always out day and night. But it really is hard to beat just mooching about a good bit of land with some nice cover and plenty of game, knocking bits out and having a few runs, both great on your own with the dogs and with a couple of mates and a little pack. One day when it’s all knackered the last thing we will be able to do is go for a little mooch and knock a few rabbits out of the brambles, sad as it may sound!

I was thinking that the other day, I’ve got a couple of young bushers and Lurchers to play with and always enjoy fetching dogs on and watching them learn to work together and on their own. The first catches a dog makes are always some of the most memorable.

The pup and this hooligan are best mates.

I also never said coursing dogs were sh*t, ever. I’ve got several friends with good coursing bred dogs, had a lad down off here this season with two very good coursing bred dogs, I’ve a yearling who’s grand sire on both sides was a coursing dog, and a grand dam that goes back to merlin and eve, oh and my main lamp dog has coursing blood in him ? -
