  1. So due to getting rid of the 50 something feral cats that where all around the area the squirrel population has boomed around he house. I know growing up it was kinda rare to see a squirrel or chipmunk unless you went a good lil ways off in the woods but now I have a nice lil population of common grey and red fox squirrels around the house. They're really pretty lil critters and don't cause any real problems so we just let them do their thing , even put out a little corn feeder for them along with the pecan trees. Will say though lil b*****ds have been getting bold . Will be in the car port wo
  2. Danner Nike Oakley, benville, a few others. Honestly most people buy their own after we get out of basic to fit what they like according to what they do. The boots S-3 wear while sitting in the office all day vs the ones we wore in recovery vs the ones the cav scouts would wear where all kinda different. But anyhow these where the ones I wore, problem is the steel toe wore out quicker and the way their made to be breathable isn't good for water resistance out here And I have to buy mine new because I have a small but wide wide foot so it's a pain to find my size
  3. What ? Just a pair of work boots, I Mena seriously these arnt even the nicer decorated ones ...kinda want the American flag Ariats but they never have my size in stock
  4. Nah these are pretty bland compared to a lot of them
  5. That's actually what I used to wear. Well mine where benville. Same ones they used us mechanic in the army. Loved them but the whey they where made they wear out way too quick out here
  6. Saw that coming from a mile away But anyway slip on work boots like this are the norm for a large part of the US
  7. How long do y'all usually get out of a pair till you need to replace them ? Looking at about 3-5 months for mine till they get to the point I have to replace them per company policy the non skid surface on these barges eat the treads pretty quick or wears out the leather on top of the steel toe ...always a fun feeling dropping right at $200 on a pair of work boots, and these are the cheaper ones
  8. Coding is basically when you type up a program/ the instructions the computer follows. If the user does ABC on the keyboard you the computer do XYZ. He basically builds apps ,games or whatever computer program from scratch . It's much more complicated then that but that's the real basics of it. Extremely important job nowadays
  9. Poking around the cow ponds, harassing the local wild life
  10. 250-350yd practice with the new .243 build and my 6.5 Grendel End up having to pack the 350yd gopher steel back up to the house because the nut popped of the back side of the bolt after the 2nd shot with the .243

New scope , rail , tired doing a pain job from one of the camo deal off one of my video games.. supposed to mimic the cherry blossom paint job from black ops 2 but egh..... Didn't come out as good as id hope, no big deal, can always sand it back down real quick and do it again no big deal Grass was too high at my place to do load development so had to go to the range and shoot off the bench which honestly I hate but hay what can you do Everything shit pretty decent. 40gr would have been amazing if I didn

  17. Yep noticed like 80% of the sub forums are deader then a hammer on here . Honestly most forums like this have become the stages for 24/7 pissing match / good ole boy clubs for less then a 5th in the total forum population I mean seriously go on these forums and see who's talking the most and its usually the same people arguing with the same people about the same shit the same ways....eghhh. That being said if anyone wants a freer place to share their pictures and stuff .... Trapperman.com pretty sure y'all's antis arnt staying at a "yank" ( just threw up a lil saying that mes ) site. And
  18. 20. @Leo Sayer on of the guys here builds shoots and hunts with self bows. Brought own and was nailing cans at 15yd
  21. Drive over to Louisiana for one of their trapping conventions. Been two years since the last one and was great seeing everyone again. Noticed more and more kids dragging their parents along too had to keep pulling kids back from the beaver skinning demo tho. If you let them seem kids are naturally pretty curious about wildlife and their ...inter workings. Wish I could have brought my nephew along but couldn't . His mom wasn't super thrilled with the idea of him wanting to start bringing dead animals along lol
