Lol nah one of the guys who drives the boat I work on it goes steersman, pilot, relief Captain, master Captain. Think pilot comes from the older times when you'd pick up guys to pilot the boat around certain areas or something

Depends on the state and then county . My pilot lives two hours away in Louisiana and he said his house and 30 acres was like 200k

Well actually if your smare about it yes ! Know a few people who make a good bit of money on 20-50 acres . Use some of it for cattle year round ,lease the more wild parts out to hunters spring Turkey deer in the winter or fall, leases an extra field out to someone wanting to farm , then there mineral and oil rights . Cutting hay it another big one. Can get 4-10 big round bales per acre and you averaging $30-$60 per bale up to $100 some years that's like 8k every few weeks basically if you play it right. Or you can do horse hay and get like $10-$15 for small bales from horse people. Then

My house sits on liek 3/4 of an acre , that's my front yard back yard, drive way . That's actually mine the surrounding area is my uncle's farm...ranch ? Not really sure what it's classified as but the pasture directly across from my house is like 20 acres then there another 30-50 behind my place that's the rest of it . And depending what his kids do when he passes I might end up with all that But also my family as like 60 over on our farm 10min down the road my wife has 10 she's inheriting and we planning on buying another ten from one of her sisters. So yeah not much compared to alot o

Well said we wanted to expand our quail eggs production a little so decided to try building an A Frame enclosure again.Wife kinda banned me after all the cussing and wood I messed up last time but tied again and think it came out pretty decent wish I knew more about cutting tin though because I just used my angle grinder still need to go bad and add a wheel kit and some other lil odds and ends but got 12 quail in it now and there all pretty happy. Got tucked in the back of the house next to the green house and aquaponics tank. Chickens seem a lil jealous though

Lot of them just got good at masking as theh say , most found out pretty quick talking to non veterans rarely helped . My wife's granddad is a Korean war vet. Second time I talked to him he walked away and came back with a box of medals and scrap book . Stared telling stories few hours went by before we left . On the drive home wife was really quiet until she said "he's never talked like that or about those things with us , never" Told her yeah it's because your not military, you won't understand. Met alot of vets from WWII korea Vietnam GWOT who all do about the same. Had a

Asked the lady I buy my quail and rabbits from if she wouldn't mind me coming by and getting a few buckets worth of the poop from under the cages for our compost pile yesterday when I got out new rabbit does and she was beyond happy to let me . Said I'd be doing her a favor more then anything. She's in her 70's ,been fighting cancer last year or so ,and can't get around like she used to and her usual help has been a little spotty apparently.Well came by yesterday to get a few buckets full and ended up helping her kill and process a few of her rabbits along with some other farm chores . Told he

My dad's not the best when it comes to relaying details lol but from what she told me he'd actually been seeing this buck for a few days. Missed talking na shot on him the first time because he was too close and had his scope zoomed all the way in . But this time he was sitting in one of the box blinds ( y'all call them high seats ) and basically ole boy just came walking by at about 60-75yd. Dad said he put the cross hair in the shoulder area pulled the trigger and he dropped like he was struck by lightning! Said he couldn't find a entry or exit wound or the bullet though which is odd bu

Told home he needs to do some hunting because I'm gonna miss most of the rifle season and one of use should kill something he's not massive antler wise but definitely will fill the freezer . Said was about a 60yd shot and dropped lin his tracks . Proud of my old man just wish I could have been there to see his face and take some pictures ..but hay what can ya do
