Asked the lady I buy my quail and rabbits from if she wouldn't mind me coming by and getting a few buckets worth of the poop from under the cages for our compost pile yesterday when I got out new rabbit does and she was beyond happy to let me . Said I'd be doing her a favor more then anything. She's in her 70's ,been fighting cancer last year or so ,and can't get around like she used to and her usual help has been a little spotty apparently.Well came by yesterday to get a few buckets full and ended up helping her kill and process a few of her rabbits along with some other farm chores . My dad's not the best when it comes to relaying details lol but from what she told me he'd actually been seeing this buck for a few days. Missed talking na shot on him the first time because he was too close and had his scope zoomed all the way in . But this time he was sitting in one of the box blinds ( y'all call them high seats ) and basically ole boy just came walking by at about 60-75yd. Wonderful text to wake up to ! My dad shot his very first buck this morning! Re worked his little .243 and handloaded him some ammo last time I was home. Told home he needs to do some hunting because I'm gonna miss most of the rifle season and one of use should kill something he's not massive antler wise but definitely will fill the freezer . Said was about a 60yd shot and dropped lin his tracks . Proud of my old man just wish I could have been there to see his face and take some pictures ..but hay what can ya do

Y'all make me happy I have mutts. Just feed them table scraps mixed with dry dog food. Every time I take them to the vet get told there in amazing health. But you can't put cheap gas in a custom race car and expect the best results.... Can run a old Toyota off of anything though

Nah not dumb at all and yeah I reckon if they really wanted to they could get in but most of the species I have around here are really too small to eat more then the babies. A full grown rabbit is just too big

Bought this lil buck rabbit a few months back with the idea of getting a little neat rabbit deal going but never got around to making him a bigger set up or getting him a lil girlfriend. He's just been in the house chilling as my wife's pet... Kinda she's always wanted a pet rabbit but they don't do much so idk.. anyhow didn't want to do elevated cages at all ,just don't like them for a few reasons. Shit there not giving me advice just seems often enough when I'm around dog people or I'm in town with one of my dogs I'll get to talk with someone they start asking about breeds and paperwork and when I tell them my dogs are just mutts , it starts up. Ok maybe y'all can help me with this . I've had the conversation regarding why I don't want any form of pure bred pit bull ( really any dog honestly) many times with various people who like dogs . And I always tell them a pure bred dog is usually hard wired to a job and if there not given and outlet to do that ...bad/ undesirable things can happen .
