i had a few as pets when I was a kid and yes pretty smart birds, had one that could pick me out in a crowd and would fly down and land on my arm much to people's amazement, I was probably around 12 at the time every spring we used to go out looking for fledglings that had fallen from trees, crows, rooks and jackdaws, magpies never done well in captivity for some reasons and usually died within a week

he was just getting over it and you had to hit him with that what next a crow talking and crying just to make him feel even worse

It's fecking tropical in Bristol, even my mankini is making me feel overdressed, my misses loves it but I can't wait for winter as there is feck all to do in this, it's 30 in the shade at my house as we speak

most of those pictures were just sent to me mate, so are normally just taken by dog walkers or passers by,I don't do so much in the summer due to to many people, but when I move back into my main area in Autumn one of my first things are going to be baiting my cameras with a road kill deer also going to try some lures both visual and audible, the thing is I have always just accepted they were out there so never really bothered trying to prove it, but in the last year or so I,ve started looking for evidence and collecting data it's also the case that when you do come across something you don't

My advice would be drink water and rip up your script, you are already expecting a bad night so that's what will happen, it might end up being the best night of all of your lives and you both get sticky fingers. Sorry could,nt resist the last bit

I would also point out that unless you peel the skin back from around the neck the teeth marks are not apparent but are usually quite clear on the inside of the skin and in the flesh as they normally just bite once and hold on until the wind pipe is crushed and the animal suffocates were as a dog usually attacks the rear end and then rags the deer leaving a lot more visible damage sheep are much the same most farmers that loose sheep to dogs knows the difference when they find a cat kill it's apparent immediately

cats don't always kill the animal, I did say this deer was hit by a car but in less than 8 hrs it had been moved, gutted, skinned and eaten,it's the style the animal is consumed that points to cats all these animals are suspected cat dinners from all corners of the country but all are very simular they were killed in different ways but all eaten in the same way no1 suspected cat kill, no2 road kill,no3 shot at night found like this early the next morning and no4 was suspect cat kill and eaten

I think I may have seen that car recently on a telly programme it was in a private collection owned by a Chinese guy

Still know sign of him, I was hoping to bump into him one day and have a brew and a chat as we move in simular areas and do simular things from what I can gather, just hope he was,nt stupid enough to hold the pads up for dog fox, seems since dog fox has gone he,s picking members off one by one I guess he needs a fresh supply of people for his viscous training regime and when he,s finished with em there hands are to fecked to ever type again, be carefull lads you could be next

Most packs are Brocken to cats , they even keep them in the kennels by me (bad for PR) if they keep killing them . But you would have thought one might have broken cover and been spotted, maybe they are all up in the trees? But there are so many out at night with NV or lamping , I can't believe we haven't got one down yet . I makes me think they aren't out there. On the nv etc debate . I've read about that, drones, lampers etc but how many people actually own NV,thermal , drones in comparison to the size of the UK . If all these gadgets had been around for 50 years widespread and we were like n

I,m popping out for a bit of a walk round the harbour side some beers and a bite to eat but when I return I have a list of country shows that the big cat tent will be attending this year as there are a few here with a genuine interest so if you are local you can pop along and ask your questions to some of the more academic researchers, and see some of the evidence on show, if the beers are going down to easily I may have to do it tomorrow cheers

As for the idea of cats learning to hunt they actually learn quite easily. Just look at your pet moggy it will be bringing in mice and birds from just a few months old with no teaching from its mum. But released cats would also have no fear of man,i wouldn't have thought they would have lasted long on this crowded little isle...... which takes you back to the early ,s when loads of people were seeing them on the moors and farmers were loosing numbers of sheep in the hundreds the army were on Bodmin moor for a few weeks because it was getting so common down there and they did see and open fi

there is a photo of a lynx shot in the uk a few pages back it was living in England, there are people on here saying they have seen big cats and there are around 2000 reported sightings a year, how would you explain it if they are not here and I,m not being argumentative I genuinely like to hear everyone's view,s and how you came to them?I used to think there might be a few knocking about mate, but in this day and age were everybody has a camera on their phone, trail cams etc I'm convinced we would see more evidence and solid footage even just from these, never mind the fact that we have had f

quite a few people have come forward over the years and admitted to releasing them usually they work for the owner and when the dangerous animals act came in they were asked to go and let them go somewhere quiet, the largest number I have heard of was 16 cats in one go, it's why there are so many sightings around the Cotswolds because it was inhabited by many superstars who all had a big cat or small zoo in the garden after 76 it was illegal to own them but it only became illegal to release them in83 which was the era of the beast of Bodmin the beast of exmoor and many other beasts popping up i

Feck me the fish monger up the road from me started selling crayfish last year and was descended on by crusty hippy,s screaming and shouting and waving banners about, could you imaging how long a shop like that would stay open before the liberals descended on it and made the owners life,s hell in this country
