Most of the otters and polecats are from reared and released animals, going back a few years I found 6 dead otters in the canal I,m on were these idiots let them go in a shipping canal which has shear metal sides and they just swam until they drowned because they couldn’t climb out I,ve also found another load on a road that ran alongside a little dyke with no fish in it they let them go there and they ate all the ducks then crossed the main road and met there end, I think the few that have survived and bred have now given us a more naturalised population I still see them on the canal I live b

Is there a regular type Yes proper hunters and proper country folk not internet pretenders ?

And as if by magic here he comes to just completely ignore our American hunter and carry on his parrot like contribution ??

I mentioned a few months ago that once red diesel was outlawed on building sites there would be a huge black market for fuel and it has happened already, I can get 45 gallon drums at a pound a litre fortuneatly I have a company fuel card so I don’t pay for it anyway but if I was I’d be buying me a 45 gallon drum for sure ??

I,m a bit old and will probably not get anymore dogs once mine are gone, but if I did I would just get some shit from the zoos and train it to detect scat, I don’t think we have the room to allow a pack of hounds to go off after cats like they do in the states but maybe one on a long line would help ??

At a glance mate and that’s what we’re dealing with ????

I’d love to here the story regarding the puma, but also find it quite telling how you can make a statement like that and not one question, like Harry has had loads of experiences to relay he gets told his mates all made mistakes and they just ignore all the links he puts up, which to me just shows that certain people don’t want answers they just like bickering, ??
-
It is when you keep asking me to answer the same thing once a fortnight, if you can be bothered look back at how many times I’ve answered sandy queer about the roadkills in America, it just gets tiresome so please feel free to carry on I’m sure foxdropper can answer all your query,s as he seems to have his finger on the pulse regarding what goes on in the wilds of the uk, I don’t suffer fools in my real life so why should I on a forum ???

-
Sooner the better as far as I,m concerned, I think I,ve made contact with all the proper country people on here all I seem to be left with are the same old group that don’t seem to be able to absorb any information, so they just keep asking the same thing every few weeks even though it’s been answered many times before then they start crying accusing me of being nasty like a bunch of damp minges when I get bored of telling them the same thing over and over again, it’s been good and I,ve made many good contacts and a few lifelong friends but the little baying bitchs like yourself I could more

The mp at the time for the area has done a podcast or appeared in the film explaining how the study was designed to fail from the start and was just an exercise for the government to look like they were doing something, the cats on Bodmin at the time were recent releases and just went mad on the sheep population ?

Because jaguars are a bit of a specialist and would not be able to blend in they are apex predators and would take cows and horses were as the three that we have are all opportunistic and will feed on anything from grasshoppers to deer, here’s a little prediction for the future if any of us are still here, in Russia at the moment the same thing is happening that happened here in the 60/70s and people are buying pumas leopards etc as pets so in the future that will be another continent they will naturalise ?
-
Not really true Eddie, and I have caught these on trail cams just incase you are interested I’ve said many times before but there are no jaguars in the wild here and black leopards breed true to type there obviously were spotty pets but the black ones were the far more desirable and will always throw black offspring the brown ones are just pumas as there has never been a melanistic puma though there was one seen recently that’s opened a lot o debate ?

Just walked in it’s minus 2,2 outside and 10 in the boat, nice lump of fat wood to get the stove going should be in the twenty’s within the hour ?
-
It’s 3 o’clock now and 2 degrees recon the boat might be frozen in by the weekend they are already salting the roads round the factory I’m working at the moment but hey 7 working days before I break for chrimbo house goes on the market today and if it sales quick I won’t be returning in the new year ???

Sandy is also a tad ignorant and struggles to see beyond what he is told, there are times of the year when there may be no cats on the moors but that would just be me making things up, big cats have been picked up on at least two occasions in the Forest of Dean during deer surveys but other times none are seen, if I gave sandy all the gear in the world he still would not be able to find anything because he wouldn’t have a clue were to start, they are drawn to different environments at different times of year governed by food, cover and weather, when I take tim out in may it’s because there is
