    Trouble is mate you won’t see the retribution’s from governments after they all go back to there farms and are singled out, An old mate of mine had a haulage company when the fuel protests were happening, he put his wagons in the rolling road blocks and protests that were happening, the government dropped prices for a short while then sent the inland revenue round to all the businesses that had been involved,mate was put through the ringer for years until he shut his business down and moved his shillings into other things

    Going back to your piking campaign, a thought came to me depending on were you stand ethically but a lot of the top boys in the pike world use goldfish livebaits obviously it’s not announced and kept on the hush but if you have a small pond at home chuck in a couple and let nature take its course they are ridiculously successful but don’t tell anyone lol

    My house in Bristol is in a smokeless zone but I burnt everything and anything for 40years in there avonmouth and its many toxic businesses is a mile down the road we have a siren system that goes off from time to time when they spill out there shite accidentally and when it does we are meant to run indoors shut all the windows and doors and listen for further instructions on local radio, it’s laughable, there are now 3 councils in Britain that have been granted permission to knock on doors and issue fines for smoke from the chimney it’s all a hypocritical shite and I will just press on but Ka

    You can buy supple wire that you can tie like braid just make a big hair rig and a single circle sea hook on and thread your dead bait on the hair fish like you do for carp catch,s plenty, pre baiting chopped fish also works especially on waters that size, summer pike fight much harder and need a bit more tic when you handle them that’s why people don’t I love a bit of summer lure fishing personally ,good luck

    Funnily not 100% think over 47lb ironically the next big res along from it is trout only but gets a few sneaking on at night and it’s done a 50 but all hush hush

    Farmers follow the money mate and as long as the war in Ukraine keeps rumbling along grain is were the money is when there is a shortage of rape seed oil and the prices rocket they will be back on it,there not as stupid as some look lol
