  4. Cheers Si It can be a lively place - as well as the big manor house, there's a few other old stone houses that some of the old girls kids live in. Matey with the .410 is a bit Wiltshire Hillbilly ..... He was killing rats with a spade when they moved a chicken house a few weeks ago got a few hillbilly's up here jon.. i got moaned at by the farmers wife for leaving a dead rat in front of the posh stables! told her i hadn't even shot any yet.... turns out it was her husband who splatted it with a shovel as it was feasting on a dead pigeon that i may have left
  5. four red ones and two big black ones it was marked up at £595 i think.. but i did a bit of wheeling n dealing with some other bits and bats at a well discounted price just put a few pellets through her rez and its bedding in nicely.. had to stop though cos its scorching up here and everyones out in there gardens its doing pcp groups after about 50 pellets atb si
  6. it was strange to watch Phil the stock didn't move a mm but you could clearly see the recoil getting soaked up.... the stock looked like sh1t though think i might have to backtrack and lighten this one up.... i like my dark stocks but think this one will come up really well! atb si ps.. he was trying to sell me a t200 like yours but running at 12
  7. Haha.... ace right up that Jon Sounds like a proper eventful night!! And a couple of bunnys for the pot... I'd of been tempted to give the falcon The night off and joined the loon with the 410 and beer Atb Si
  8. the lad in the shop loves tx's he was doing one hole groups with one with a sheffield recoilless stock when i was there today

  14. finished work early today as the scaffolders had gone on the pi55 so i took a drive through to pickering guns, been thinking about getting something for a while! so i bought this.. this is not a review just a bit of a comparison of air arms to the hw springers that have been covered by a few of the lads! first impressions it looked like sh1t because they have decided to spray them after production to protect the Finnish i knew it wasn't a problem as i knew it would come up fine but rob in the shop was well pissed off cos he'd spent ages trying to clean it! the safety was seize
  15. cheers bn... there a great pellet in this streamline, i had them left over from the hw110... that loved them too! my mate was at the top of the farm using his prosport with aa fields and struggling but the mags hit home regardless its put tea on the table tonight.. not quite as flash as some of the pies the lads have been making but easy to knock up aft a long day at work! stir fried woody atb si
  16. cheers mark hats off to you using the springer yesterday... I've had the 95 in the boot for a couple of weeks now! every time I've been out lately its been bloody windy and the hunter extremes are crap in the wind! can't even bring myself to go out tonight.. been getting blown about all day on the gables!! atb si long day it want the springer!! dur

  21. good session that eddy atb si
  22. been out with my mate today! we decided it was time for a change of tactic so i had a word with the farmer.. he's happy for us to shoot from the silage store and top of the farm but he's never given us the green light for the actual main farm! until today so my mate stayed at the top and i tackled the lower part... my idea was we should get more by moving the birds about, it was windy as fcuk today but the bisley mags are a good pellet even on a day like today! this area covers about 7 good trees that hold a fair few birds... shots ranged from 20 to 60ish yrd my ambush point i
  23. thats good to see chris i don't shoot anything at home either but its as much a safety issue as the amount of crap id get off the neighbours, nearly every garden in the street has a bird table ! if your fine with them alls good... I've got a massive sycamore tree over hanging my garden it houses woodys/crows and an owl on a night! not good for the car though cos if you park under it it'll be covered in sap and sh1t within an hour
