  1. Chalk, there used to their runs, they were there before I started doing anything about them, making more would not neccesarily gain me any benefit, although I know your point, I've seen them snared on trellis, footstyles, trees jumping up at height to access area's.. The wood is not fenced one side, if they were blocked in, they would simply, come round from a different more open angle... Foul catches are not nice with snares, traps, bad shooting, regardless of location its always going to happen, even with breakaways on open runs, nothings fallible...
  2. Had a phone call off a farmer, telling me his son had put a fox out of a wheat field, had a look round last night with dixy off here, very poor conditions full moon, windless and a slight fog drifting in...but we must try eh , spotted a glimpse of some eyes couple of fields away, that was it, gone like a shot... never appeared again... I'll bump into it again be it with gun or snare.. Dixy tested his nice little cz out on a few bunnies...
  3. Was out yesterday, stopped out for some lamping and checked the snares again when the light faded... Another two out of the runs, one foul caught, ample room left for feet clearance, sometimes the rabbits commit to these points and jump clear through without touching anything, hence waist caught, you could try and counteract this by raising even higher, with a loss of killing area, risking a rabbit slipping under or knocked snare... Peoples opinion would differ.
  4. 15,000 Hope your wearing ear defenders mark ... I should really start wearing some, heads banging after shooting for an hour or so...

  7. Was out checking some rape stubble, see what pigeon activity was like, when I noticed a couple of runs through rabbit proof netting, snared them and popped back the next day, there all done ready for a curry tonight... Got some good lines to hit these coming months.
  8. Used them couple of year back, not too bad at all... used to pay about £140 for a 1000, similar to clear pigeon.. i did change to clear pigeon for a while but really didnt get along with them so went back to kents! i will stick with them until they stop making them I'm sure the kent velocity is just a rebadged clear pigeon, not 100% mind...
