Yea same pal but after 2 days bein there she just slept after gettin all drugs in her and waiting for inevitable. And like she said last year when bed bound wouldn't want me helping her toilet or shower etc and when did go see her chat for 10 mins she'd be back asleep so happy to see me like you say but happier I didn't give up what I was doing for her a few visits made her just as happy mate

I personally wouldn't and if my kids went and had a good life else where wouldn't want them to either. You say she has good support and family there etc. And there's not over much you can do and would she really want you to give up a good life for her? Yes, I am……and the reason is this, we are so far past the point where we can be all nice and sensible about it that’s it’s just not true. Once upon a time we may have got away with “well he can stay based on this or that”……now we are in the middle of a full blown genocide and will be minority white British in only 40 years……we don’t have time left to pick and choose and be all “fair play award” about it.

America and Europe are a bad comparison imho because our history’s are totally different…..America was built as a hotch potch of immigrants ! Europe isnt like that at all. Lots of decent replies here mate…..but to me, here is the big question: Who are you doing it for and what’s the payoff for all concerned ? Would you as a parent want your daughter back in Blackpool tending to you and sacrificing something great when you already have all you need ?

I had a great expat life, then decided to retire at 50, ( it was actually 51 before all loose ends were tied up). We could have gone to live anywhere in the world but chose to come “home”, because my parents were still alive. We had a house here and because of our circumstances, we could still travel anywhere and our children were in Saudi and Australia, so visiting them wouldn’t be a problem. My parents are both gone now, and our two kids, I’m settled here now, but still travel a bit, my missus travels extensively. Did we make the right decision to come “home” ? I think so

Wouldn’t we all love the digestible option of, they all get a nice pay off lock, stock and barrel and journey back to their lands of origin and use that money to start something great…..however, we are dealing with an ideology and they won’t stop until human nature takes charge and then that will be terrible for everyone. So, examples of realistic human nature in reality mate.

I agree, but that’s not what we were talking about…..nothing is irrevocable in terms of demographic change. Its a problem that can be solved simply by having people willing to solve it.
