All long ago sadly . i was funny as i was all in between about 15 and 30 , all i thought about was football and dogs . And football came a long way back In second . I played Saturdays and when I packed in to play Sundays , it was getting in the way of the dogs so that got f****d off as well. I always had a thing where one day I’d be walking around with my boy on my shoulders watching dogs fly about in front . It seems that may happen but it would have to be something nostalgic to re light the fire for me

Listen last year we had an Indian summer. September was cracking flags lol. Most years now on September the grounds still hard as f**k. I'm saying some pastured land. Am not to me to you with comments mate. The wind was up last night would of been ideal for some of the lands with you dogs that are green to run a few green bunnies on the lamp.

My kind a dog that mate

Arrr yeah fair point......50 ft up the drink then.
-
Just choked on me drink lol Seagulls looking on pets for home

As I said he would tear up to them as quickly as possible and settle , but if he could kill quick he would. he could also find and stalk them in big fields of rushes which was my favourite way , letting him find them himself and figuring it out.
-
There aging like wine getting better every year lol enjoyed the pics a write up stiff

To " split " a vote there has to be a party worth voting for.....and that is certainly not Reform ! I imagine a lot of people who were getting all high and mighty about Farage and Reform are probably feeling just a teeny bit embarrassed about now................not to be a dick about it,but we did tell you what he was.

Most of the ones in your pups pedigree mate

What dogs were they stiff ?

Ive just typed a reply to this and for whatever reason it wouldnt let me post it and i cant be f****d to right it all out again but this what i was saying. Your scientific " consensus " is a social construct and NOT true science. Scientific consensus is just a simple verbal agreement NOT scientific evidence. Enjoy learning something, thank me another time.

How did he run just keep gearing up trying using test raw speed or could settle use his head aswell ? My cream is similar I slip on a roe it's like the roe is stuck in the mud going backwards lads don't believe me but I've seen coursing breds on the land smoke greys

You could say that mate yes!! i knew victor and a lot of the lads who kept them. They weren’t for me , I was into both day and night running, but for night they were a sight to behold . I seen some of the very best dogs in the uk as a young man. It’s very very strange for me to read some things in here as I saw some extremely well known lurchers , both day and night mentioned regularly and twenty five years ago they were just dogs in the kennels of our little gang. at the time were always looking how to keep better and stronger dogs . It’s genuinely baffling .

Yes mate . He was slightly under that , But bigger than 27. he was a lovely dog to have about as it sounds cocky but he was f***ing lightning quick. Like after thirty yards his turbo would kick in and he would shut them down like a track grey. I got a perverse satisfaction on holding him as long as possible on the rope as the hare would bobble into the distance with all my pals screaming to let him off. I stopped free hunting him and held him for slips that advantaged the hare rather than him . another funny thing is that he had an unusual name and I’ve heard his name mentioned

Both look powerful runners Plenty speak highly of some of them minshaws you see many good uns stiff he was your way weren't he ?
-
I'll have good bit a footage end a season she can send you dizzy at times at that age were she knows what hare will take what stopping and runs accordingly and chilled about everything quiet friendly enough this pure pups similar minded easy to get on with

Dog on left a young coursing bred type , 9 months old , grew into a very measured calm all round dog , definitely my best dog for chasing hares. Again lucky back to a quick jank travellers bred day dog. dog on the right is my favourite ever dog . I never got any nice pics of him , but he was truly a dog of a lifetime. Saluki bull grey back to a minshaw lamping dog . Rough and ready and could go at anything , day and night . He was an absolute oil painting and he was as game as they come . Was the epitome of a desperate killer , broke toes , teeth , feet and his shoulder . Still caught da

September is usually still hard huge cracks still like you say the drilled after a shower is sound for the Pups
-
Lovely stamp ain't he looks a good size 28tts?
-
Banger , 3 weeks can make a big difference to a 3/4 . And when good men mention September. They mean with young dogs and end of September for adults when ground is also softening . Auld stick hutcheson used to call me on a Friday night harping on about the fools busting wicks and ligaments for what . Daft hares . There's sportsmen and there's fools . It's not rocket science

listen you don't graft like I've said. Sat on a forklift vehicle most of the day isn't graft. Setting mole traps isn't graft. Lifting tiles on a roof most of the day is graft. That's where the legs are built up. Up and down. Not easy work at all. I've to admit I'm slowing down.
