Elliott 436
Nipped out on the golf course to see how the rabbit numbers are. Not a single rabbit seen but a few foxes knocking about. I passed on the first two, including a young cub and dropped this one at 50 yards with a nicely placed Eley sub, just above and between the eyes. Was in nice order too [/url] Edited March 1, 2016 by Elliott 2 Quote Link to post

Elliott 436
If the ranges are sensible the 22LR seems to do the job. Must admit, it's the first one I've shot with it. I've got a 223 and on the lookout for a 22 Hornet which will be better suited to the golf course and the land near my house 1 Quote Link to post
Bigad 136
22lr is a deadly round for fox at the right range nice work. Quote Link to post

Alsone 789
Don't know what your budget is Elliot but this might help - £646 or £538 if you can reclaim the VAT through the farm business you live on. http://www.sportsmanguncentre.co.uk/savage-model-25-17-hornet CZ is approx £100 more. slipper 116
Sorry to hijack your thread Elliott but if I can just ask what range did you zero your hornet at cc? If its hundred yards what is the trajectory say at 50 and at 200? Like Elliott the 22 hornet is something I've been thinking about, as I reload for my 223 I will be reloading for the hornet when I eventually get one I have a cz 527 in 223 so was thinking of the hornet in the same model?
