Recommended Posts

As the title says, going to buy a pair of altbergs sometime this week, the warrior seem to be the ones to get but what is the difference between aqua and non aqua? And microlite and also the cheapest place to get them of course, any help appreciated

I have a pair of non aqua and they don't leak...some people reckon having the gortex in them makes them sweaty

Had a pair of Altbergs cant remember the model were ok but had Meindls since way better investment , Vakkums are great and im in them all day clocking up mileage i so wanted the Altberg to be good as there british made but found them to be like a basic military boot,Meindl way better IMO.

Depends what you want from your boot whether you hunt

On hill, field or fen? There's lots of variation in the altberg boots

From the ultra light sneakers to the more rugged boots like the gamekeeper

And high moor

I wanted a high boot with good support

Also waterproof so I went for the stark extreme

i recently got the warriors but at the minute prefer the lowa combat for the better ankle support going on uneven ground but could change when fully broken in but they are a good boot
