I don’t know mate, you have to keep in mind nearly a million people just voted for a pro Hamas, pro immigrant, Marxist Sinn Fein (or Sinbad Fein as I read someone call them yesterday ! lol ) stooge to be president ! There are plenty here have no concept of what this means for them…..a lot of them genuinely see no difference between the Irish diaspora and ten thousand 3rd world fuzzy wuzzys coming over and driving an Uber !

Exactly this mate, I do that as well from time to time…..and same as you, it can get you feeling a bit blue but I think it’s also a decent reminder that things wasn’t always this way and so it follows it can be better.

If the right circumstances combine, anything can happen. As I said, who would have looked at the Soviet Union in 1980 and said “this won’t exist in 10 years” ! Would we have foreseen the Balkans conflict and massacres in Central Europe ? Things you can’t imagine are only ever 3 or 4 steps away……as our successive governments have been proving to us for the last 50 years !

You cant change nature mate, we are an island race, have always been basically a bunch of thugs albeit well mannered thugs……just like an African is always, at their core, going to be an African so it is for the European and by degrees, the British. Learned behaviours can be unlearned, politeness and violence…..if we can’t do one, then we do the other, always have.

As downbeat as I always sound, I’m actually more optimistic than that….i think there’s a change in the air but we have to remember this stuff don’t happen overnight. The Soviet Union lasted 70 odd years, we are 40 years nearly into Blair’s Britain……everything has a life span. If it don’t get cured politically then it will get cured some other way, same as it always has…..there’s nothing new in the world mate when it comes to ingrained human reactions. The world will turn.

I think the most sinister stuff is the seemingly meaningless, like that lad on here who posted about being stopped by the police because “he didn’t look like he should be driving his make and model of car” !!?!!!……people should just let the wider implications of that mindset sink in for a second ! Bingo, Ive always personally loathed that ridiculous statement whenever it’s used about anything…..I could genuinely punch people in the face when they “Well, there’s worse than here” when you talk about how a formally top class nation has descended into an Orwellian, 3rd world shit pit……it’s like saying “Well there’s worse teams than us” if you are Real Madrid and have over the years been relegated into 14 tier of non league park football……you used to play in the Bernabau, now you’re down the park with a rope round the pitch trying to avoid the dogshit ! f***ing breaks me !
