crows and jackdaws

Just wondering if it's ok to feed jackdaws or crows to my ferrets? i can't see a problem but read previously that you shouldn't feed them on these? any info appreciated! Plenty of jackdaws in my garden just waiting to be ferret food :D

i had 4 rooks and a jackdaw tother day i was wondering too

i dont anymore because the last one i shot had yellow slime coming from what was left of his head

Either it was it's brains, or you popped a f*****g great zit for it! :laugh:

it was the worst smell i have have ever smelt :sick: :sick: i thought no way was i cleaning that out of their hutch

yer thay will like them giv em 1 and see how fast thay rip it up and munch 1 down ad 9 ferrets as a kid and i wood giv them anything i shot or traped rabbs rats allsorts of birds even the odd frog enything small enoth for them to kill thay will eat thay wood get eggs with a bit of milk evry week not to much milk tho

woodys are also good ferret food. just been speaking to my mate and he tries to vary thier diet as much as possible because after all there a desendants of polecats which are oppotunists and will take anything

 

woodys are good for me too i shoot the farm doves and feral type pigeons which are healthy as anything and perfect size for a couple of ferts

We give ours crows rooks and magpies all the time with no probs

they also like jackdaws woodies and jays the only thing our lot dont seem to like

is game like pheasent etc

A diet of fur feather and raw meat and a bit of dry food tends to keep our lot in good nik with no illnesses touch wood
