new team member

[COMPO 54]

went ferreting this morning for a couple of hours, took both of my kids with me, my lad who is 10 and my little girl who is 2.....well its time she went , i know i left it a bit late but she is catching up, including when the 2nd bunny bolted "daddy , more rabbits come out" which alerted me to teh rabbit wrigging around in the net, we caught 3 rabbits, one of the ferrets laid up and the collar battery had died (it worked ok at the start)...not knowing where she was, i filled in all the holes (we were only doing a small five holer) and i brought the kids home , the farmer was doing some fencing nearby and he kept an eye out, after sorting the kids out and having a bite to eat, i went back and opened one of the hole's, after a bit of banging my ferret emerged with the collar and the dead battery

it took the edge of the enjoyment having to go back for the ferret, but at least i found her and she is home and ok now

Was hoping to get out myself today.However it aint stopped raining all day ;(

she is a little beast aint she she looks like she is loving the sport and looks settled in with the gutted rabbits.

that sounds a good idea....it was loud and fine when i collared up and tested it.....then quiet!

 

all's well that ends well, just skinned the rabbits!

it's good to get the young ones out, some times my cousin will come ferreting when ever i got.
