john b 38
What`s the difference between them and wasps? Just for you Name I have fished a wasp out of the wasp trap for a comparison It's a bit worse for wear but you get the gist. The wasp is the one on the 10p.

Guest Name
It`s a colourful sparrow! That`s not what i thought a hornet was, i used to think those little ones that just hover around you and don`t sting were hornets. Don`t think i`ve ever seen a real hornet before, after seeing that picture i don't really want to. Thanks for showing that John

dogs-n-natives 1,182
I remember going into lowther show about 15 years ago, in the queue of cars on the way in, there were loads of hornets all over the cars, it was a hot day, and they were flying into the cars through the open windows. It was absolute mayhem! People running round screaming! Hilarious!
