You could do that, or you could try and bring down a system that puts them in that position ?

Not a hope. You’ve lost your mind. You’ll be telling me I should let the workers join the union next ffs.

A lot of lads laughed at me on my thread the other day, not laughing at my new electric motor now are they! Lol

Well, a few things there mate, first and foremost why would the US support politicians whose ideology is anathema to them ?……why is it in the US interest to help people who hate them at heart…..people

All self inflicted. Usual fcukwits filling jerry cans etc. trying to stay ahead of prices rising a pound or two. And I can clearly remember that for 100 years Scotland could refine crude and produce

That’s the trouble with ideologues mate…..there’s only ever one way to skin a cat……

Folks should start thinking outside the box for a change.

Just wondering have you seen the demographics of Dallas or even Texas for that matter? Good old boy f**k me your the pits 🤣🤣

I’ve travelled the world and Texas is one of my favourite places , although as I stayed in the Presidential Suite of the Dallas Hilton,  a walled and gated community in San Antonio, and at a log cabin belonging to President Johnson, I may be more than a little bit biased ! 😂👍

Freindly cosmopolitan people, and in some parts, yes, red necks, and other parts far more “Mexican” all taco’s and mariachi bands 😂

I did all the tourist bits, the Kennedy Assassination tour, the Alamo , the San Antonio river walk. Spent a fortune in Schepplers, the biggest Western Store in the world .
The friends I stayed with, the husband was Mexican, the wife American and I met a very mixed demographic and got on well with them all.

All in all, a place I’d recommend to be on anyone’s bucket list 👍

Cheers.

I don’t doubt it for a minute chartpolski. My point was if you talked to any Texans who’s travelled to London they would probably sing its praises as well. Despite the doom and gloom it’s probably still one of the most visited cities in the world. Islington might not be to everyone’s taste but try and buy yourself a flat there never mind a house. The facts are people are falling over themselves to live in these places they can’t all be wrong? Can they?

I’ve spent far more time in London airports that London itself so I can’t really comment.

I went to a meeting in Southall back in the 70’s and it felt very “alien” to me, not what I expected. I was on a course on Tottenham Court Road, near “Theatre Land” one time and the demographics were completely different to Southall,

As for my own patch, Newcastle, I can walk from Darras Hall , the millionaire footballers preferred location, to the West Road , which is almost 100% Pakistani.
I guess all cities have their different cultural, religious mixes these days, especially the big cosmopolitan ones like London, New York, Paris, etc,

Cheers.

No it was about if a ‘good old boy’ from Texas arrived in Islington he would be disgusted at what he would see. I’d just be of the opinion he wouldn’t give a shit because that’s what his own city probably looks like and every other major city he’s probably lucky enough to visit around the world. Most of those ‘good old’ oil boys more than likely sent there kids to London for education one of the places they’d all want to live is the very place you’d mentioned.

No, it wasn’t…..it was about if a libertarian, Christian, open carry Texan landed in one of the heartlands of this Marxist political ideology and talked to some of these people about private property rights, speech law, enforced demographic change, taxation and big government telling everyone how to wipe their own arse while at the same time dismantling their own means to look after themselves and farm it out people who hate you he would be incredulous !
He’d think we had all gone insane….and he would be right !

I’d only have to explain that to a person who thinks all this system is completely fine and normal ! lol

That's Smethwickstan. Even by brummie standards it's a shithole.

My new Muslim neighbours came from there , and even they couldn't stand it.

I have an old shooting mate that was born and raised there . He moved house at around 70 years old , because it has been taken over .
