Good luck to him. Schools couldn't handle me so while my mates were doing their gcse exams I was fishing every day, they were supposed to find me something but never did. I started keepering when i was 15 then did a bit of plastering too until my current job 25 year ago and not having any qualifications has never affected my life.

It was all on CCTV and cool as fck. My lad got suspended. As a one off we could live with it...but he shouldn't have to be doing that every day. We have made the decision, he ain't going to school after Easter holidays. Already lined up an ex teacher friend to do a couple hours a week maths and someone to teach him Spanish. His brother does AI and software development so he will help with that side of it. I'll even book him on pest control courses, as long as he's working towards loads of different qualifications then it seems like a no brainer
Gypsydog94 4,833
Wouldn’t blame you for taking him out of school my Mrs qualified as a teacher 4 years ago and is about ready to jack it in. The state of the education is a disaster and has only been worse since labour has got in. Under funded under staffed and pandering to certain children is having a knock on effect to the other children in class

He gave a couple of scroats a good kicking and he's just got himself into a position where every day some older brother or group wants to have a pop. He just can't be bothered anymore. His mates from the first year have all just gone super chav.... dressing in black tracksuits with balaclavas and thinking they are gangster. Mixed with with the constant left wing preaching and soft teachers. I just can't see the benefit of years more of this. He's at cadets, starting boxing again and has plenty friends outside of school. He could change schools to the one most of his mates go to but the reason he didn't go there originally is it's now over 50% Asian. So we are looking at all options I wouldn't personally mate most kids i see home schooled struggle socially and there always nob heads to deal with let the lad work it out it'll stand him in good stead

We would only do it if he's fully involved with friends and social groups elsewhere
